What happened to camille?

Camille is no longer a freelo champion abused by pros and people trying to get free elo. She can actually be countered in lane now, amazing right?

Nerfed really hard. But hey, there is a buff for her on the PBE. ^^

She was only a guest appearance champion for the pro league meant to only be good for 2 patches then never be seen again.

Once again Rito released a champion that was completely broken. So they had to keep nerfing her until she wasn't played anymore. The sad thing is that she can still hard carry games even with all the nerfs if you main her.

she needs stuff trimmed off her kit

She had basically everything in her kit

And thus got slapped with the nerf bat

shes getting buffed for some reason. her winrate is fine 49% .

Duelists are generally viable when they are able to 1v1 most other champions including a good portion of other duelists. They are generally accepted to be a good blind pick that can win lane with reasonable reliability even when picked blind.

Camille is balanced around having more utility but less dueling power and as a result can not function as a duelist, but rather can only function as a non duelist.

As a non duelist she has to compete with much tankier champions which comprise most of the "bully" and "tank" sub classes that you see top lane. Not being picked here is i think a result of the players who like these types preferring a principally tanky champion over a principally damage oriented champion.

TL;DR she doesn't give the "carry" players their fantasy of demolishing their lane opponent anymore, and she doens't "fit" the basic champion type that the "bully" players and the "wall" players enjoy.

A: No one could play her in the first place.

B: Riot MASSIVELY nerfed her despite being one of the most telegraphed, easily-countered champs in the gmae.

C: Riot buffed AD champs, when ulting an ADC as Camille was already suicide anyway.

She's just not really any good anymore. You can still play her and do well, but it's intentionally gimping yourself.

She got nerfed into a niche Support. She's more popular in EU though.

It's really hard to balance her correctly, riot could focus more on her Q but then they would have to nerf E or W, most likely E since it's more powerful. If they focus on E they would nerf Q making her do less damage. If they focus on W, why.

This is my dumb way to think of balancing

She got her back broken with successive nerfs.

Now she's pretty much a trash pick at all times.

Well the accumulated tears from all the crying got her nerfed into shit tier so now she's one of the "requires much more effort to do well with her than many meta picks".

A lot of people abuse when some champ is Op then the people playing for fun or a fair play gets bored and tired of a bored game.

So she deserved the nerfs, cuz is very bored fight always versus the op champs of the moment..

She can be played very well but most the people only want easy damage output.
