What happened to respect in this game?

I mean this in every way possible. It feels like there is almost no sportsmanship or respect left in this game. Every game I have played in the past few weeks has had at least one player, if not two who seem to do nothing but belittle and harass others. Name calling, harassing and just general poor sportsmanship are the norm now. Even in after game people are talking trash to the losers. What happened? Furthermore, and this is a side note, respect for position and role are also out the window. For some reason ADC's are being left alone in lane and kills are just going to whoever can get them. I am guessing this is due to the auto fill system but supports should not be taking kills early game if I can go over to the Jungler or the ADC. Its like people can't stand to be in a lane and not get kills or farm. It has to be about them. Honestly, community, CHECK YOUR SELF. If your spending more time typing then playing, unbind your chat key. If you get auto filled ask nicely if someone else can play support AND THANK THEM FOR IT.

Respect doesn't exist in this community. Fuck it. I'm not trying to get my account banned, though, so I'm just gonna mute people at the first sign of trouble from now on.

Like, the day before yesterday, I believe, my adc "predicts" that I'm going to feed and that I'm a girl because I played Sona. We end up winning hard primarily from me getting him insanely snowballed, and he's still dissing my champ selection.

Day after, I get someone that's bitching about the enemy's Malzahar support. I was Sona again and kept the Malzahar off his back for the first four levels straight while forcing him to use all his pots. He didn't get hit by Malz more than once, nor did he ever hit him once at all himself, in that time frame, but because the enemy Jhin bursted me into using my flash, this dude IMMEDIATELY starts calling me useless.

So I'm just a piece of shit no matter what I do, apparently. Everyone wants to be children that start shit, not adults that want to come to a resolution.

To be clear OP, there's a difference between in the heat of battle the kill simply going to the support and them willfully and intentionally KSing. Additionally while kill gold is great, a quiet lane for the bot laner to farm is more so. CS will always give more gold in the end. Look at people who hunt for kills with low cs. They don't compete with a well farmed champion. Ideally a player wants both.

Additionally a fed support is not a bad thing either. You'd be amazed at how they can carry games.

Buddy I've been playing since S1. What you are talking about doesn't exist. Never has. That's cause people are dicks when they have aninimoty

Sucks. But it's human nature

I find respectful players time to time. Usually very rarely in like 1 in every 30 games. But people seem to hate when people talk though, I personally prefer a good conversation going on. Lucky for me, I got my all time favorite game I had so far recorded. People had personalities and respectful for the most part with friendly banter. ~At least I took it as friendly, and non-hostile banter.

Though, I agree, finding those types of games is almost rare to see.

The game was purely me Que up solo on Normal Draft Pick. The bot laners were a duo as you can see on the clan tag. Though my favorite part is how the Veigar called Teemo "Lil T" To the point even the other people started to call him Lil T. xD Oh yeah, this was my first only only time doing Jungle Soraka. It's nice that players can let players have fun at times.

Now to the OP. First I want to inquire why the ADC is being left alone? Could it be possible that the support is roaming to either try and assist or to ward? Are they leaving that lane to roam support because the adc is toxic? Had a Jinx yelling at me for my support because she would stand still and get bubbled by Nami or not side step Jhin's w during wind up. I missed some of my abilities, but then again I was trying to zone rather then engage.

As someone already stated, in the heat of battle, things happen. In fact, I suspect with recent Exhaust changes, Ignite will become more popular. I can't control the tick after placing it on an enemy. Sometimes I use an ability to slow them or cc and get the kill by mistake (admittedly I tyr to wait until they would be out of range before casting.) Kill securing happens, hell I usually apologize for it afterwards. Autofill isn't actually the thing to blame in this case.

Respect. It is a two way street. Unfortunately someone needs to take the first step and not everyone is willing. I try to play every game (especially ranked) with an open mind. I see an unusual pick, whether off meta or questionable, and I simply tell them "So and So. That is odd, but I will choose to believe in you. I trust you." Even had one guy (two different occasions) who left after apologizing for picking to troll so everyone could find a new lobby, and in another instance admitted that he was planning on feeding but would try instead.

I also understand the whole, 'No one knows my identity.' thing. Rage and anger can only help focus for so long before it just exhausts you. Be the positive in the community and try your best.
