TIL that you can trigger COTC by displacing enemies with a blast cone

Actually it was yesterday but I forgot to post it yesterday. What happened was the enemy Nunu(who had COTC) was attemping to escape from my Malzahar and my teams Maokai and Sejuani(who I was in voice chat with). He took a blast cone over a wall and knocked one of us away, resulting in him gaining the shield and because of that, he lived through my malefic visions that would have otherwise killed him. All 3 of us in voice chat lost our shit.

That is some fucking funny shit right there. But CoTC should only proc from a champion's own CC.
