Ok, seriously, why?

It's the 5th time in a row that I get first blood this way... seriously, why is everyone convinced that they can all-in and outduel Fiddlesticks at level 2, especially after they already missed their only CC?

Playerbase: "What's a Fiddlesticks?"

I think its the silver effect: we KNOW hes squishy, but we CONVENIENTLY FORGET that he has A CC and a Life drain. (Heck, even Tilterella forgot about Sion passive once while facing one! XD).

fiddlesticks life drains is pretty shit. Hell you should hope he starts draining and save your wombo combo for when he does. A smartfiddle sticks thought maxes E first to poke you down then fears + ult you and walks around the ult auto attacking you for the finisher. Maybe drain when there's no one around to get your health back.

Drain makes E prioritize the drained target, so if he E+Ws you near a minion you're going to eat at least 3 E bounces.

you have to be in a pretty good and favorable position for that to work. There are times were that seems good but for me that's never an option nor necessary. Maybe i'm too passive but i found constant success playing the waiting game with fiddlesticks.

On a similar tangent, Aatrox.

Aatrox is REALLY good at 1v1ing, but his reputation precedes him as this garbage badly designed champion. So nobody respects his 1v1s and start to feed him in the following duels.

Yup, Aatrox is an early game duelist, late game raid boss.

-Oh look an Aatrox. I heard he's a bad champ. I can probably out-duel him. FIRST BLOOD -oh wait, how do I play against him?

He's got the Shaco effect now. People think it's an easy win then they suddenly notice their carry has been killed ten seconds ago in a teamfight.
