Suggestion for Dark Harvest to make it more interesting and less cheap.

The suggestion is this:

  • When Dark Harvest triggers on a target, there is a delay before damage is dealt.
  • There is a base damage which will be increased up to a cap based on how much damage you deal to the target during the delay.
  • It could be something like, take the live version and reduce it by 25%, dealing damage during the delay can increase it up to a cap of +50%.
  • With the example numbers, damage compared to live DH would be 75% - 112.5% depending on how much you deal during the delay.
  • Keep the soul stacking and reset mechanics as is.

Cheapness that this addresses:

Pyke's ult: Now DH can't raise the threshold because the damage will be delayed for after the ult. So either you get the execute, or you only get the damage + DH damage.

Globals and long range abilities: Currently you get the full damage from DH added to low commitment ults that let you snipe people. So this would be a nerf to DH for these ults since those champions would need to be near the target to follow up.

Poke: Now if you poke somebody below half health you will get less damage unless you follow up.

Burst: In general you get less frontloaded damage from DH and have to commit more.

New synergy:

DoT champs: Applying a DoT will give you some more damage than somebody who pokes since your DoT will have a little time to tick before the delay is over.

All in: Being able to all-in makes it stronger.

Combo: Champs that can land burst combos benefit when they successfully land their combo.
