How to Ward properly?

This is perhaps one of the most talked about things; people are always saying 'make sure you ward'. But, whenever I look at guides or videos on how to ward properly, the guy always says 'So, you wanna ward this bush, this one, this one and this one, then you want to put another one right here and a final one opposite to be safe'. But you only have 2 stealth wards which expire super fast and one pink?? How do I cover all the entrances to mid lane as a mid laner with such few wards?

You don't, but no one ever said that you need to. You have 3 options

  • You can either heavily ward one side and play to that side so you an escape. If you do this play to what ever side lane is putting the most pressure in their lane. This will further enforce an area that the jungler will not want to play to.

  • The other method is spiting up your resources. Using a pink in a river brush and then using your yellows on the other side of the river. You only play aggressive when you know where the enemy is (ganked another lane) or when you have placed a yellow down. You have moments of agression.

  • Last you can ask your jungler to help you ward for you. As a jungler i do not recomend you asking. You can try to play of his wards but he may think a certain area of the map may be more important than you.

Vision manipulation is about understanding when you can go in and when you can't. You are not supposed to have vision around you 24/7 unless the team is dedicating the resources and helping you accomplish that.
