What to do when you get a lead?

Im a Bronze 5 mid laner, AP Ekko main and this has been a question on my mind for a while. In quite a few of my games, I get a lead like first blood, or I have a few kills in general, good CS and the result is that I am higher level than everyone else in that game. I try to use this advantage to gank bot lane but it never seems to work. Either their always back at their tower or they see me coming every time. Regardless, I always end up losing my lead somehow because my gaks never work and end up losing the game.

So my question is, what should I do when I get ahead in early game?

Thanks, Prof

In your elo you just keep stomping mid and get to the point where there team has to come stop you. If you can 1v2/1v3 at that point then the rest of your team should be able to get other objectives. If they don't come to stop you take their mid inhib. But yeah roaming top/bot is a good way to win the game.

secure the lane (clear & ward) then call for a gank to break the tower. if you're up (plus you play ekko) you can dive the tower if they rush defend.

i'm in bronze too but 2v1 is stronger than 3v2.

It's about map pressure. If everyone is playing back because they see you roaming, continue to stomp mid. Get fed off the mid lane champ or force him/her to recall and then take towers. Kills are cool and all, but objectives win the game. If you have 20 kills and no objectives, you're still in a position to lose. Objectives>Kills almost every time.*

Buy one of Sweeper upgrades. Get rid of the bottom lane wards and you will deny them vision and you can gank better next time.
