Mid Laner(s) to Carry with in solo q? [6.6]

I just got into ranked, so I am low elo, and I wanted to know which mid laners I should try master. I want a midlaner that can do well in lane and have an impact on the whole game as I often do well in lane but my teammates feed every single time. Perhaps I'm asking for a bit much but I would like to know a champion or a range of champions which I should play that are not banned very often.

Thanks, Prof

Carrying on a mid laner is going to be slightly harder than being a top / jg / adc hypercarry.

Mid laners typically power spike earlier and fall off sooner. In order to "carry" as a mid laner you are going to need to snowball the game out of control and get some other lanes / your jg fed.

With that said... I have seen some of the more unconventional mids do better at carrying. Alistar mid comes to mind.

I play a lot of Diana and she seems to be a good champ to carry with. She snowballs HARD and can roam pretty easily. Obviously, some people will say Zed or Ahri, since they are strong right now and fotm. But, Diana remains un-nerfed and is very fun to play. Give her a shot.

In mid lane, my first item is almost always either abyssal or zhonyas depending on who I'm laning against. When you hit 6, you land a combo and it's pretty much over from that point if you have been laning effectively.

My sequence for combo is, W,Q,R,AA,E,AA,R again and Q when it comes off cd. Ignite in there somewhere to guarantee the kill.

For leveling abilities, I alternate Q and W until 5 and take E. Then I level R at 6. Then I proceed to level Q, W, and R whenever it's up. E is leveled last in MOST cases.

Good luck bruh.

Edit: Diana does not fall off very hard and throughout the game she always able to one-shot the adc, supp, or any other squishy. In the current meta, with tanks and adcs, she does very well.

Solo queue does not exist. There is only Dynamic queue.

For low ELO, I would probably recommend mid-laners with good waveclear, CC and poke.

Players in lower ELOs will frequently gather around obejctives and spend a couple minutes dancing around one another until a sloppy engage/catch occurs, so the ability to poke people down and pick somebody off are very valuable.

In addition, these champions are typically very easy to farm with, which can result in you building a gold and experience advantage against most opponents.

I primarily played Gragas, Ziggs and Varus during my time in Silver last season and I climbed very quickly.
