Could Gnar support work?

In normals of course! I like playing Gnar and I like playing support, just wondering if I could mix the two. It seems like I could? Mini Gnar can harrass and Mega Gnar has CC and engage. What do you guys think?

People do it, I've done it, I don't really like it, but its fun for shits and giggles when you're matching skins in a duo. Since Gnar is probably one of the most fun champs gameplay wise, in my opinion. There are even guides for this believe it or not on MobaFire, or were... before the rune-overhaul... Honestly, I don't know if he'd be better in Support Role than Top right now, since they keep droning on in every damn patch "These champs are feeling the hurt over the loss of Fervor..." ..... GNAR'S PRIMARILY USED FERVOR, why am I seeing a trend of Gnar having less than 50% Wins against all the champs who were "Hurt" by the removal of Fervor. Champs he before-hand pub-stomped or generally won more than lost??? Teemo! For gods-sake. Gnar and Teemo should be in a heated 50/50 for wins, now Teemo has a huge advantage being far more compatible with the runes, than the Fighter=/=Vanguard Gnar.

Pretty much anything can work as support if it has the damage, tbh You just can't put champs with low damage in the support role or real supports will steam roll you since they have high base damage.

I find that Gnar has a tough time when utilizing one of his forms more than the other. He just seems to always have a period where either you or the opponent plays around it. I like the idea though. Will I give it a try? Probably. Will I make my brother do it in a duo? Yes.

Yes but only well if u can comunicate with ur ally and play around the forms. With a couple of ganks itll be a cake walk

I'd pick him exclusively into tanks / low harass enchanters.

i have play support anything, any mage with CC do the trick (le blanc and ekko being quite cool) illaoi was annoying to face due her E and ppl not knowing how to play against it at first, gnar issue comes from how unreliable his CC is, sometimes you need CC and are on mini gnar, sometimes you cant engage and you are on mega gnar taking poke

it is terrible but it is better than most awful picks for support (almost all adcs)

I think in terms of raw viability he's far too easy to harass early one in a 2v2 situation, so playing against a tank that can't poke is probably his best match up

If you want to do it, make your your ADC is a friend. Don't be an ass by forcing some random to accept the fact you want to do something at their expense.
