seriously. do we need to emphasize the adc role even more? do we need an artificial built in method to feed the adc the majority of the gold pool in the game even more.
make it the top lane. 2 people can take down turrets faster than 1. some top laners can take turrets down faster than an adc early game but with a support like taric all of that is out of the window.

If Top lane lost the fortification. I would lane swap that lane, since I could rush down that turret down faster with my Duo lane. Giving me the advantage. The only way to prevent that was to match my swap.
So the only thing that would change is, the Duo lane is now on top.

lane swaps don't work well in low elo. people always go to bot lane as duo laners. that will really. REALLY affect any elo that doesn't lane swap.
that change will be good for pro play (i think but u never know they will eventually exploit some repeatable uninteractive way to gain advantage thats what pro players do) but it will really hurt non-lane swapping elos. bot lane loses turret your fucked sorry but currently if the enemy sivir or jhin gets ahead they just mow down your tank in a second or two as if they were 10 levels behind with no tank items

Except that Just about any ELO is going to be meta sheep. If the pros swapped their duo's top lane because it was optimal, Lower ELO will eventually figure it out.
And Historically, You send your Duo lane Bot side, to put pressure on Dragon. Since they changed dragon (the first time) it was of less interest as an early game objective. And for a little while, Top was more important due to an Early herald. But that got changed too. And Right now, Nothing binds the Duo lane bot side. They can lane swap to get out of a bad matchup, and usually screw over the top laner in the process. (And nothing says ADC Importants, quite like Screwing over your toplaner.
Last thing, I had to remind myself that the Fortification buff as a whole, and been reduced from a 7 minute duration, to only 5. With your first camps spawning a 1:40, You really only have about 3 minutes to impact the bot lane, and actually take advantage of the fact that bot lane lacks fortification. So Unless you are Laneswapping, the actual effect is way less than it sounds.
