ELO hell is SO annoying

I just lost because of a stupid Maokai and Jayce duo, seriously, why have these 2 avoided serious nerfs? I had last whisper and Maokai barely took a scratch.

well your renekton build is ...... interesting to say the least. The 500 extra mana from the iceborne gauntlet is sure useful on him.

I built what people said to, go tank, I needed the CDR.

The team insisted I go super tank, and whenever I didn't the Ziggs did "?" ping spam on me until I changed out for tank items.

Renekton is a fighter. Tanky with damage. the Standard build for him is usually BC , Hydra and THEN build tank.

Why are you listening to the people on your team, they don't understand the game any better than you do? Which isn't much (not intending to BM, we all start somewhere). Your CS per minute is also really low. Improve your CS by 10-20 per minute and it's literally a free ticket out of bronze.

I can't against Jayce he deals too much early on.

that is why you get item 3047 and ren vs jayce is a skill match up... you can effectively engage on him with your dash combo , you are early game dominate , and you have sustain with your Q and a stun on W

and btw item 3071 is a must on ren in 95% of games

This isn't challenger, this is bronze. Skill is much more relevant since I guarantee your laning opponent is making more than enough makes to capitalize on. Furthermore, the matchup isn't even bad.

1st question is why in the hell did you get item 3025 on Renekton

2ndly why did you not have a damn item 3071

and mao didnt build alot of armor either ... he only had a item 3047 item 3110 for 120 armor from items... and lets assume he ran 9 flat armor seals for +9 and his natural armor is 97 at lvl 18... so 129+97 for a total of 226 but item 3035 only good to reduce bonus armor and at 45% sooo 129 bonus armor -45% is left with 71 bonus armor plus his 97 scaling armor still for a total of 168 effective armor....

and you got item 3075 vs a team of ad casters not auto attackers which is another waste of gold

you have no boots at all... which item 3047 vs talon, jayce, ez would of been a better investment then iceborn or thornmail.

man seriously the elo hell is the hell you create for yourself

Oh shut up, I don't know what's a caster or auto attacker when it comes to Jayce, he has like 7 frickin abilities, plus I needed as much armor as I could get.

by the way i use to main ren top in season 3/4... i am a maokai main... apparently i am light years ahead of you in game knowledge

Well you start off with berating me, as if I would know who's an AD caster and an AD Auto attacker, look I'm pretty sure I speak for many when I say it's hard to know who's an AD caster or not anymore. Also how does Tabi help? It blocks 12% from BASIC attacks.

this is my point you arent getting it. you dont understand any of this... it just does not compute in your brain

i made a long post with the items ren can build and get that is best...

multiple of people have also stated you do not get mana items on him...

ren isnt a tank never will be... he is a juggernaut/bruiser he can be tankish but he isnt a tank

i have explained how the items would of been more helpful than what you built and you dont wanna read it and understand it

im trying to tell you you want to discredit it

ideally if you wanna be upfront damage on ren... 18-0-12 is usual taking batter of fevor cuz he can stack it fast with his combo...

or you can go 12-0-18.... and go grasp in lane which gives him good tankyness

your runes are ok.. but i dont like your 12-18-0 into thunderlords on him...

best build for him is item 3071 item 3748 or you can get item 3074

but if you wanna go item 3748 items that increase your hp makes it more effective... so item 3053 helps with it plus the free bonus base damage is nice. and typical mr item on him is item 3065 which helps you sustain with Q and gives you more cdr and hp as far as armor items any of these are ok depending on what is needed item 3143 item 3068 item 3742 if you are facing multiple auto attackers a item 3075 is ok

boots depends on if you are facing alot of ad damage or lot of cc so either item 3047 item 3111

another item that is interesting on ren is item 3812 and now due to the changes of item 3153 its ok on him as well.

so a typical build for Renekton would be

item 3071 item 3748 item 3068 item 3065 item 3053 item 3111 which gives you alot of cdr, hp, damage, sustain, mr, armor

but builds are always situational

Clearly you belong in low elo if you think LW is supposed to counter Maokai lmao. It helps, but Black Cleaver is the tank buster.
