If Rek'sai is silenced while burrowed

she cant unborrow. I get "unborrow" is an ability but it blocks her form even auto attacking? just make her pop up without the knock up or something.

She can't auto while burrowed.

That, my friend, is counterplay. It sucks, but it's one of Rek'Sai's weaknesses that can be exploited. Just like how Katarina's ult can be interrupted with something as common as a knockup.

any channel can be interrupted by a knock up. They way it works makes it seem as though it was not intended to work that way. A silence in any game, it not suppose to render someone useless, its suppose to disrupt their ability to use spells. In this case Rek is essentially being hard cc'd by a soft cc which really should never happen in a game.

But you gotta look at it like this In a so well-rounded kit like Rek'sai's that has little counterplay to it, silence is one of the only things that can absolutely shut her down in the right moments. It opens up really cool picks vs her and also counterplay mechanics

Does it make sense? No Does it make the game more interesting? Yes

the same way any spell can't be cast by a silence. Yes, Rek is being hard cc'd by a soft cc because of how her kit works, which is counterplay. It's a weakness.

It's like how Teemo's blind renders an adc (who relies on autoattacks for most of their damage) useless for a couple seconds. Annoying to top laners, but deadly against an adc (which is intentional, but t'is only an example).

One way to look at it is like... Elise. Elise jungle typically builds AP (or even AD, but do'nt quote me) bruiser since spider form is melee. Since spider form deals more damage the lower health you have, and human form deals more damage when you have higher health, a silence can affect her in a similar manner. Spider form has more movement speed, but is melee, so you can kite her by locking her into spider form, or escape from her by locking her into human form (where she's slower).

A lot of champions with somewhat similar moves suffer the same. Jayce, Nidalee, and Elise can't transform when silenced, to gain the benefits of an alternate form. And champions like Singed and Swain with toggle abilities can't turn them on or off, potentially at cost. It's just something you're going to have to deal with playing Rek'sai, There aren't many silences, just plan around them, like almost all pure AP casters do. They can auto attack, which is something, but it's not very potent on them most of the time.

correct me if I'm wrong but simply clicking as if to auto attack someone will unburrow you, does this not happen if you're silenced?
