Dragon's Ascent: Tweaks for Shyvana

Dragon Born: In Human Form: Shyvana's basic attacks do not interrupt her movement. She also gains 5 / 10 / 15 / 20 Armor and Magic Resist.

In Dragon Form: Shyvana's basic attacks apply a 1% slow for 3 seconds, consecutive attacks reset the timer and stack it up to twenty times (20% maximum slow). Her Human Form's passive resistances are doubled in Dragon Form.

Reason: Shyvana is known for her relative lack of CC. The idea behind my suggestions is to better differentiate her two forms. The Half-Dragon's Human Form will work well despite having a complete lack of CC, while Dragon gives her peel in teamfights (not the best peel, but better than none). Dragon Form's slow takes a LONG time to ramp up, however it lasts long enough so that you can juggle the timers between different champions.

Twin Bite: Cooldown: 10 / 9 / 8 / 6 / 5

Active: Shyvana's next autoattack will strike twice in one swift movement. Both attacks will trigger on-hit effects and full auto attack damage (from 80 / 85 / 90 / 95 / 100% AD on the second hit).

Shyvana's basic attacks against non-structures lower the cooldown of Twin Bite by .5 seconds

Dragon Form: Twin Bite will damage all units in front of Shyvana when she uses her next auto-attack. Each unit hit will both trigger on-hit effects and grant FURY twice.

Reason: First of all let me clarify that this has gotten a damage BUFF. The second strike of the ability dealt reduced autoattack damage before, now it deals all of it no matter how much it's ranked. Despite that, Shyvana would still want to level this second (after Burnout), to lower the cooldown. That was the only thing changed. Shyvana does not have much reason to build AD over on-hit effects, so the addition of damage on Q will hopefully balance the two build types, if only a bit.

Burnout: Cooldown: 13 from 12 Magic Damage Per Second: 20 / 35 / 50 / 65 / 80 (+ 20% bonus AD) Minimum Magic Damage (un-stacked 4 seconds): 80 / 140 / 200 / 260 / 320 (+ 80% bonus AD) Maximum Magic Damage (fully-stacked 8 seconds): 160 / 280 / 400 / 520 / 640 (+ 160% bonus AD) Initial Movement Speed: 30 / 35 / 40 / 45 / 50%

Active: Shyvana surrounds herself in flame for 4 seconds, dealing magic damage to enemies within 162.5 range each second and gaining bonus movement speed. The bonus movement speed decreases by 10% (from 15%) of its original value per second. Burnout deals 20% extra damage to monsters.

Shyvana's autoattacks extend the duration of Burnout by 1 second, to a maximum of 4 extra seconds.

Dragon Form: Shyvana now scorches the earth where she walks, leaving a trail of fire for 5 seconds that will continually deal the same magic damage per second to enemies that pass over it.

Reason: The only damage that was added onto this was that of the one second increase (the movement speed-reduction-over-time's reduction and increased cooldown falls under this category). Otherwise the ability is unchanged. Burnout in essence is just the Immolate + Rage passives combined. Just like with Twin Bite's change, the tweak should make Black Cleaver (or any other AD item) just that much better on Shyvana. She's still a tank/fighter , so you won't be seeing any real ratio buffs.

Flame Breath: Cooldown: 12 / 11 / 10 / 9 / 8 Range: 925 Magic Damage: 60 / 100 / 140 / 180 / 220 (+40% bonus AD) from (+60% AP)

Active: Shyvana unleashes a fireball that travels in a line, dealing magic damage and marking enemies hit for 5 seconds. Basic attacks against marked enemies deal bonus magic damage equal to 2.5% of their maximum health (max. 100 vs. monsters).

NEW Passive: Hitting a marked unit with basic attacks lowers the cooldown of Flame Breath by .25 seconds.

Dragon Form: Flame Breath engulfs all units in a cone in front of Shyvana.

Reason: Cooldown reduction is not a good stat on Shyvana. For one, not many items that Shyvana could build offer it. For another, she benefits much more from attack speed. With that in mind, attack speed cooldown reduction has to be placed in a kit VERY carefully. For an example of it being poorly added, see pre-4.20 Skarner. Having the maximum attack speed possible, you will only ever get 3.125 seconds of reduction from the new passive. Flame Breath should receive a reduced AD ratio, but still deal magic damage (see Burnout). As much as we love seeing off-builds, I don't think that the AP ratio was ever used. (if you want an off-build, play AP Rek'Sai)

Dragon's Descent: Range: 1000 Cost: 5 Fury per second Magic Damage: 175 / 300 / 425 (+50% bonus AD) from (+70% AP)

Passive: While in Human Form, Shyvana passively generates FURY every 1.5 seconds. Shyvana's basic attacks generate 2 FURY, even in Dragon Form or against structures.

Active: Shyvana transforms into a dragon and dashes to a target location. Hard-CC applied to her during this dash will instead be applied after its duration. Enemies along her path take magic damage and are knocked towards her target location.

While in Dragon Form, Shyvana's FURY decays at a rate of 5 per second. Once her FURY is depleted, she will return to her normal state. Dragon's Descent has no cooldown or initial cost but can only be activated when Shyvana has 100 FURY.

Reason: Should she lose the AP ratios, building Trinity Force on her is still just as good of an option. It still has synergy with...to be honest, her entire kit. Besides the damage change, very little was changed about the dash itself. It would no longer be cancelled by Crowd Control, and the knockback would push foes to her destination properly. Currently it only nudges them towards it.
