Illabethe1 votesFrom stats it seems he is only losing in games where he can't get past 1 item. That suggests a LOT of bot fill players are picking him and dragging down his numbers. Once he has 3 items he can 1v5 a team....
Actual adc players are doing fine with him.

A Rioter said on Reddit that Varus might get reworked at some time. God I hope they do, because Varus is in a state where he can either be completely useless or just straight up be able to nuke someone, there's no in between. He requires a lot of items to scale, and be relevant. All of his playstyles aren't that viable anymore (Lethality Q, Just On-Hit, Crit). AP is all he has going for him and even that is too expensive for him.

And it's not hard at all.
All his losses are stacked into games where he has 1 item or less..... After 2 items he has a 52-57% win rate.
Meaning..... people are getting filled as ADC.....
I've gotten filled as adc 70% of the time today when queueing "Fill." No one wants to play it.
So Adc stats are unreliable atm. They're being played vastly by non adc players.

That said, I don't feel like the winrates are that unreliable. I have played Varus recently and he does feel pretty rough. :/ Everything and its mother can jump on you and you have next to no peel because most people aren't picking utility and tankiness; they're going full damage.

If you go look at all the adcs who are suffering sub 50% win rates right now, they aren't suffering when they get over 2 items. It's FILL adcs who are dragging down the numbers.
I'm not even an adc and I can carry on all of them except perhaps 
, because I suck at using her Q correctly (sometimes I get stuck with it charged in a situation where I cannot use it and wait for the cooldown to come back up).
Even Kai Sa is sub 50%, with about 3 rounds of buffs.
No fills were dragging down the numbers when adc was popular (the way they loved it). Doesn't mean they can't still do the same thing, and the adcs would stop boycotting the role....
Most of the current players never played in the Life steal adc meta I guess. But me.... I'd rather the life steal meta over the crit meta any day of the week. It's really annoying to see ADC's on crit builds basically trade kills an entire game throughout season 6-8.... because they build no actual sustain, because they were using Warlord's or FF.
Life steal meta is far more dangerous once players play it.
Unstoppable Monk1 votesThe thing with Varus is that his winrate can tank due to poor support players. If Pyke "mains" and Soraka are spammed, he's kind of going to lose. He's probably fine in a solo lane.
