How the reworks deal with player feedback
Darius: Static actually discusses the changes with the testers and even goes as far as to try and buff Darius step by step to avoid making him either OP or UP
Garen RiotRepertoir might just be the diamond in the rough amongst those handling these four reworks. He handles player feedback quite well, actually addressing things like garen's E crits and his formerly reduced movement speed while approaching champions. Not only this but he kept the champion's theme and overall gameplay pattern pretty much the same but improved in healthiness and actual interesting Mechanics.
Skarner Also dealt with by RiotRepertoir. The rework may be a mess but he's really trying to improve upon it by buffing scarier outside of his spires so that he won't be useless outside the jungle. Even though these are baby steps I'm optimistic that Skarner might not get dumpstered by them.
And finally Mordekaiser CertainlyT's basically going al "Lalalalalalala Can't hear you over all the fucks I don't give" Seriously! When the hell do we even have the PBE and Boards and especially one PBE Mega thread on these changes when he doesn't even bother showing up and actually listening to the testers/the community on what they think about this stuff?
Tl;DR Riot (CertainlyT in particular) should work on their communication skills and actually listens to Feedback a tad more
? 'cause I have a few words for him if he is...
If I had my way, mord would be left alone so efforts could be made to give him a VU. the most that would happen with his abilities would be me going on to the Boards, looking at some good ideas for a way to make his abilities better without changing them too much and go from there.
I really don't see them going through with this. With this much hate for at least the mord change, I suspect they'll at least postpone it till they can find a way to use it without pissing everyone off.
cough
to keep people from kiting him? Let me take a hammer to his knees to 'fix' that instead of addressing why he needs two mobility items in addition to boots.'
rewards his weaknesses already if you get a favorable match up or opportunity. The rework nerfs him across the board, and makes it so he has to stay in a lane where there's almost guaranteed to be someone(the adc) who can poke him into nothingness. And where as
