Context: With teambuilder and matchmaker both gone/down, i decided to try twisted treeline... tbh the game feels far less toxic, and theres a lot more teamwork... i still hate it though. anyways, this garen ulted me and when i told him how much he did, and complained about balanced he accused me of lying to him.

I didnt lie, his ult did 1848 TRUE DAMAGE. Not only that, but his E did over 900 damage to a full tnak poppy. Why is garen still even in this game?

EDIT: Looking at this... he had a f*cking DORANS BLADE... Dont give me that shit about "oh well he has cleaver and blahblahblah" 1848 true damage WITH A DORANS BLADE.

i wasnt the villian, and it gives HP. thats tanky enough to be claled tanky.

Well, his E probably did a lot of damage to you because you were his thingy and it does max HP...and you had a lot of AP with not too much Armor. Stay away from Garen when you're his thingy...and don't feed him.

1848 = 525 + .4 * MH MH = 3307.5

I'm sure there were other damage modifiers he had. Let's be generous and say they were 10%. Assuming they do work for true damage, that makes it:

1848 = (525 + .4 * MH) * 1.1 (Riot's formatting is shit) MH = 2887

You have 3600 health (assuming you didn't buy health after dying). With 2887 missing health at the time, you had 713 health. His ult did 713 damage, and that is with the generous assumption that his damage multipliers totaled 10%.

Base Damage = 525 + 40% of your missing health. You were the Villian, which means true damage all around (which makes damage calculations easy!)

He dealt 1848 damage. Subtract the 525 for the base damage, which means 1,323 = 40% of your missing health. This means you were missing 3,308 HP, which means you had 292 HP.

You took 292 damage.
