Infinity Edge is so dumb.

In silver maybe, but in any decent rating if you don't go IE first you're going to lose every single trade unless you're like 4 kills ahead already in which case you're winning despite not having IE, not because of it. There are champions where you might want to rush Trinity or botrk, but those are exceptions. There's a good reason why most pros and high elo players rush IE, it's the best ADC item right now.

It seems most of the champions you play are Marksman. You don't have to build Infinity Edge you know. You can create your own build lol. Right now to me it seems a bit hypocritical that you are complaining, but still building it. No one is forcing you to build it, you can build other things and still be powerful.

The fact that it is insanely powerful tends to force people to build it if they want to win.

Without AS or even more AD IE is insanely useless. I once first itemed on Yasuo and Vayne, failed extremely hard. It's a mid game item and is really expensive.

For something expensive you should get something powerful, not down right garbage. So IE is really worth it's price, and is perfectly balanced atm.

Are you kidding? IE is rushed a lot because of how good it is on its own.
