Exaust, & Ignite.

Well I was watching a match between Bjergsen & Smurf, & noticed them running Exaust, & Ignite. I've been doing this since I was introduced to the game on my Jax main I also have been getting hell for doing it, until they just stop talking altogether, & I start asking them to use team-work so we can finish match now. I've tried Teleport, & flash on Jax, but it not only feels funny, but doesn't work well with me. I like getting my kills as soon as possible, & play very aggressive, & although I don't pay too much attention to my health, I know when is a good time to back out, & wait for things to cool-down. Exhaust, & Ignite work, & feel good together, but why do so many people disagree with me using it?

ignite/exhaust are arguably the best combination to win a duel. So in a straight up 1v1 those summoners are best. However, Flash/TP offer more utility for you and your team.

Specifically for Jax i'd run flash. It allows him to get a long range E Q off, or get away when things get crazy. You can continue to use, ignite/exhaust, just know that you are sacrificing a lot of mid-late game utility for an early game duel. Also jax doesn't really need ignite/exhaust once he gets rolling.

TL:DR ign/exh is a very agro summoner set up so its best to get a few kills between lvls 1-4 using them appropriately, otherwise you are in an even worse spot than if u had a more utility/safer summoner set up with flash/tp-or-ign

I'll start trying out Teleport, & flash again. Is flash a must when deciding between both Flash, & Ghost though, because I find myself using Ghost more often on champs like Zac, Tahm, & Gnar primarily for ghosts usefulness late-game kiting to bring them into a gank, & Zac, & Gnar already have build-in escape tools, (Sling-shot, & Hop) But feel like using Flash on Darius Which has happened & I just get pulled due to him also having flash if my q is down. That's the other thing. If my enemy is also using flash, would it not be better to use Ghost? If they are a bit on the tankier side, & flash after I've used ghost, even after the effect of a slow, Ghost is usually still up, & still offering me the distance I needed. I understand the usefulness of flash for getting through walls, & what-not, but what other useful things does it offer other than getting through objects? What makes it better than ghost?

Well that's probably one of the biggest reasons right there as to why flash is better than ghost. You can go over walls, meaning you have a better chance of escaping, or catching up to someone. Aside from that, Flash is instant, there is no animation, and you get to go a set distance right away. Ghost you actually have to run it, meaning you are still vunerable to get CC'd or slowed after you use it.

Ghost isn't bad, it provides great chase so you can continue to attack in between your move commands and it has a lower CD than Flash. However, flash is a lot more flexible offensively and defensively at the cost of a longer CD.

i think it is good to know how to use both because sometimes you will be up against someone who you just won't be able to beat, so you can use flash + teleport so you can roam and secure kills easier.

Sorry about late responce.. but what i mean is.. Go what you love doing..

I don't always take flash..

I go Exhaust and Ignite as a teemo and they drop like flies..

Ignite/Exhaust wins you your lane.

Flash TP wins you your game.

why not run summoner 4 summoner 14 or summoner 3 Hell even summoner 12 or arn't Horrible.

That is a possibility, however what teleport offers is instant map presence anywhere you want. You can be as fed as you want, but if you're top lane and your opponent suddenly teleports down to take dragon, it's a 4v5 down there and the best you can do is take a tower for a dragon. You can also use teleport to gank other lanes, namely bot and get kills.

Exhaust and ignite aren't a sure lane win either. In fact, you have to win lane with those two spells. If not, you'll be behind and fall off. Teleport and flash can never fall off.

Aside from my mistake of having Exhaust in the "F" slot, & Teleport in the "D" slot, & accidentally teleporting to a minion directly behind me, clumsily thinking I used Exhaust on the enemy -_- the match went fine afterwards, but then the next one was against a duo top with Poppy, & Cho Gath. Nothing I could have really done there even with Exhaust,& Ignite, But so far, that's my favorite tp Combination. I'll miss Exhaust, & Ignite, & may bounce back when I feel it's required, but for now I'll stick with tp, & Exhaust. Jax

You're missing a lot of play potential and safety without flash to be honest.
