@Riot: Long, back and forth games are really fun (meta too snowbally)

So often, games last 20-30 minutes and it's basically whoever goes 4/0 in botlane wins. And it's not fun. Games are decided in the first 10 minutes.

When the game is 40 minutes long and both teams are basically even, scrambling desperately for any sort of lead in the next teamfight (Baron, Elder, Etc.) now THATS a fun game. My heart is pumping after narrowly winning the teamfight. It feels like one mistake could cost you the game. It could go to anyone. And that makes it fun!

Example of a FUN game: http://matchhistory.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/#match-details/NA1/2467096619/228864458?tab=overview

In this game it felt like an even match. Draven was really good and got fed. I (Camille) was able to farm enough top to the point where I could roam out of land and pick off Draven before he snowballed too hard, and I was still able to defend against Nasus. It was really back and forth. They'd get Baron, we'd get elder, we win a teamfight, they win a teamfight, they get an inhib, we get an inhib, we push, they push. There wasn't a clear winner and that made it exciting for both parties. In fact, I even honored Draven for being an honorable opponent, something that rarely happens. My team wasn't blaming others, or saying Draven was broken because we knew it was our own faults and he was good. The point is there wasn't a snowball going and it was great.

However in the current meta, it's basically "fighting for a lead in botlane for ten minutes, then the team with the stronger botlane shits on the other team as they play catch-up for another 10 minutes in the hopes of stopping the rolling snowball"

Please do what you can to makes games feel less snowbally. Anything at all.

Games are not decided in the first ten minutes. People in your elo don't know how to play when they're behind. There's numerous things you can do to catch up to a 3-5k gold deficit, you just don't know any of them.

So how about instead of acting like I'm a toddler you get off your high horse and tell me some? And now to communicate that to 4 other players before minions spawn? Thanks

Because there are so many resources for you to learn from and it honestly feels like a waste of my time to type like 200-500 words to someone who won't even listen. Just know that there are ways. If you know what to do use a lot of pings. If you want to improve go watch some coaching videos on YouTube (that's what I did). Honestly though, things such as making good calls and having a good understanding of macro shouldn't be of that much concern to you. Just being good at core aspects of this game will get you to at least plat.

Some people tend give up mentally if they are behind early, multiplying their mistakes. Losing becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy.
