Tryn is really unfun to play against and with

the weeaboo··138 votes·5,858 views

I don't care wether he's op or not. Its just not fun for anyone. If youre against him, hes a pushing monster you cant leave alone for 2 minutes without losing an inhib. Then even if you send a couple to deal with him youre now at a numbers disadvantage. Try to deal with him alone and you will lose because he'll just dive you, and its pretty hard to win a fight where your enemy doesnt die and has free flashes. If you have him on your team he's always going to push meaning it's going to be a 4v5 the whole game which isn't fun if you're behind. Overall a shitty champ.

I like it when you check the death recap: Basic Attack 2000. The skill is unmeasurable.

dominusx10 votes

adcs do the same thing from double his range i dont see people complaining about adc skillcap which is the same at trynda skillcap in terms of how they do their dmg. the difference is one has an ulti to make him stay alive in th emiddle of the fight while the adcs have range and kiting mechanics instead

SweedishGunner45 votes

ADC's aren't manaless, they don't become invulnerable by pressing R and they don't get a free 35% crit chance on every auto after autoing a few times.

I'll admit that auto attacking isn't all that impressive but I'd still say Trynd is more brain dead than most ADC's.

dominusx6 votes

adcs have range and kiting mechanics to compensate for the fact they dont defy death for 5 seconds and trust me getting afew extra 800dmg autoattacks untill the enemy reaches you is more than enough.

Andrey03458 votes

And Tryndamere has to deal with being kited, which is a huge problem for him as well.

Melledoneus14 votes

With the E cooldown that low and a targeted AoE slow, it's a wonder how he can be kited by anything but a Vayne who ulted.

Votable Jester3 votes

To be fair, the cooldown is only really low when he's hitting people.

Melledoneus13 votes

Or when he's hitting minions. Or hitting jungle monsters. Or hitting it off, because let's be honest that arm is too strong to only be used for combat.

Sexy Jack Rabbit4 votes

I heard Ashe gave him the cold shoulder on purpose to make his arm stronger.

Troll for Trump3 votes

The melee vs range thing is a huge difference.

Trynd has much faster waveclear, and thus better splitting than ADCs.

Ranged is always much better than melee, though

MissingKayo6 votes

Eh, Tryn with Statik and any ADC with Statik and/or Runaan's is basically the same IMO.

Rikari4 votes

Have you ever tried walking up to crit vayne,or simply existing in her sight radius?

Mira Arya Enthe8 votes

You try overextended split pushing on any ADC except Vayne. Trust me it hardly takes more than a support to kill a caught out Ashe. Aside from Vayne ADC is a team role, the skill factor is positioning and orb walking. An ADC cannot and will not succeed if play brainlessly.

Lucian Draven should be able to do it to some extent, both being good duelists, and Quinn is good too but she's not really an ADC.

doesnt matter i see adcs fucking up and 7mins later ripping through everyone in diamond and few months ago in master elo. braindead role even more braindead than tryndamere.

Glad most the community is smarter than to think that way.

Here's what he does. Right clicks down a lane, right clicks minions, then right clicks towers.

more like he attack moves the enemy nexus and afks

You just have to learn to play with this type of champ.

So many people want to team fight all the time but splitpushing is a sound strategy. The problem is you have to know how to play with this. If the enemy team is engaging on you while Trynd is splitting, you have to run. That's the strategy. You defend the tower they are trying to take and let him take their undefended tower.

Meep Man8 votes

I think it's really unfun personally for Trynd to split push constantly, do some really ballsy stuff, and then usually get away with it unless you have a lot of crowd control due to the fact that his R cannot be prevented from happening and his E can go over walls. Plus, while many won't care as much as me about this kind of stuff, it's completely unthematic. Trynd is like: "I'M SUPER ANGRY AND WILL OBLITERATE YOU! BUT FIRST, I HAVE TO AVOID ANY COMBAT I WON'T CERTAINLY WIN AND SPEND HALF THE GAME RUNNING AWAY FROM PEOPLE!" Yeah, nice Barbarian King we got here.

Anidan2 votes

The first part actually makes plenty of sense when you think about it. The only thing that would really need to change is maybe his theme (from barbarian king to something that operates more hit-and-run) and "split-push-a-thon" would be a valid theme to build around.

And if we're going to argue about whether or not split-pushing constitutes "fun" I'm going to make this as clear as I possibly can: I frankly don't care what other people think is fun to go against. My allies I'll be more considerate toward, but my enemies get nothing from me because I know just as many people exist out there that don't care if I like what they do as enemies that want everyone to have fun.

I meant the Trynd was one your team and the enemy is engaging on you. I messed up the numbers. If you are 4 and they are 5, you leave.

Pandemic Punch6 votes

That is more than just a Tryndamere problem. That is a top lane problem in general. You have to choose between a carry champion that can be easily countered / ganked or a tank champion that will lose the lane (But can hold it) and hope to god your teammates go even or better so that you can have a bigger impact in team fights than your top lane opponent.

Top lane is the most annoying role to play in the game if you have incredible knowledge of the game but your mechanics are crap. I always try to go for tanks who can survive ganks since I know the 2v1 will always happen. Of course, I don't mind that at all as long as my jungler is farming or helping the other lanes.

noxus is op5 votes

apparently trynd is one of the kings of first blood too lol.

Andrey03457 votes

Because people underestimate his early crit power. If tryndamere knows, how to do lvl 2 all-in, then it is 80% free first blood for him. At start each his crit does around 30% hp, which sometimes can be really unexpected.

Should all champs in league's roster be teamfight oriented? Because from the sounds of things that seems to be the direction you'd like to head in. I personally feel like trynd's flavor has always been a split push duelist. He doesn't teamfight well, gets kited, etc.. However you look at fiora and see she wins almost every 1v1 toplane and she takes that lead and shoves it up your junglers, midlaners, adcs, supports ass. werass trynd is countered by smart ganks and pushing a 4 v 5 advantage midlane. But that requires logic to think about so lets just shitpost on the boards instead. fkin idiots. inb4 100 downvotes cause im goign against the grain

It isn't about how anybody wants the game to be oriented. It's about how the game currently IS oriented. Currently, league is very focused on securing objectives. That means towers and especially dragons/baron. This is why teamfight oriented tops like Maokai, Nautilus, and Poppy were so strong before they got nerfed.

Having a Tryndamere top or a farm jungler like Yi / Shyvana is a big gamble because those champions exert no pressure elsewhere on the map unless they get fed. So it's a gamble. There are other champions (Vi, Hecarim, Lee Sin, etc.) or Fiora top who exert pressure even if they aren't fed because they bring utility in addition to damage. Those are must safer gambles than picking a pure carry top or jungle.

No, that's great point of view. I feel the same, Tryndamere is a good split pusher, that's one of his identities, and those pseudo reworked problemless champion (Fiora/GP) works the same. Most of the frustration comes from his ultimate, maybe his kit revolves too much around it ?

NineTailedMystic4 votes

It's not a splitpush problem, it's a "he kills almost anyone 1v1, and if you send 2 he Rs and spins away" problem.

MrNuclearPumpkin3 votes

I 100% agree with this. There was a Tryndamere who i managed to stomp into the ground early game. Like 6/0. And when you get that fed, you're supposed to roam and spread your power to your teammates, if you don't, you might as well be afk, because that power isn't going anywhere.

But everytime I did, Tryndamere would just shove his lane. And since he wasn't worth gold anymore, he didn't care about dying. He literally forced me to stay top lane instead of roaming and when I left him alone too long, he blew up a tower. And because he wasn't worth any gold, it wasn't even worth the time fighting him anymore.

Even though I stomped him early game, I was not having fun with that match overall. :/

Standgrounding2 votes

Same with Yasuo and his noob double critical strike.

Sraeg201323 votes

Except when you hit Yasuo, he dies.

SanD452 votes

He still has his shield.

Sraeg20131 votes

It makes up for his shitty defensive base stats.

Plus it can be triggered with about anything. He has no control over what it blocks.

SanD452 votes

Did you say yasuo has shitty base stats? He can outdamage almost anyone at lvl 1.

Well, it's a skill match up in 90% of duelists, and most tanks crap on Trynd because he has no way to get around armor.

If he buys them first, or early in his build, he lacks damage.

Late game he can, but early - mid... not really.

And he can't buy Lethality.

SweedishGunner1 votes

But buying an early LW isn't that great on anyone, not just Trynd.

But buying an early LW isn't that great on anyone, not just Trynd.

That's why people like Trynd have issues dealing with tanks, mhm.

SweedishGunner1 votes

But that applies to everyone that doesn't have in-built tank shredding. ._.

StealWolverine2 votes

Tryndamere is the only melee adc who dosent have a built in way to deal with tanks.

And nasus? And Jax? And every other split pusher? No that's not a solution.

The OP isn't crying about tryndamere so much as he is crying about split pushing and split pushers in general.
