How has mundo avoided nerfs?

Seriously, his ult has insane cooldown time and our Jax with and couldn't even put a dent in him, even I struggled as Veigar and he only had as his only MR item, how has Mundo avoided nerfs for SO LONG?

The explain how he resists so much damage from both me and Jax? I was Veigar with 945 AP and Jax had last whisper and Executioner's calling.

No hard CC to speak of, must rely on ult for decent damage mitigation, no gapcloser, only two abilities that deal any real damage.

Well how does it make sense that with only SV, he survives ALL my damage and Jax's with Grievous wounds?

That's easy. His health regen from his ult coupled with his health was able to withstand your onslaught.

Veigar is pretty shit against tanky enemies unless he gets to god-like status with his AP farm and a void-staff. And if Jax was getting kited by cleavers he likely wasn't auto attacking much.

Because he isn't that strong. He relies on his ult, which is cut hugely by executioners and the ever present morellonomicon. This makes him outshined as a meatshield by other tanks that don't have this weakness and have hard CC, which he lacks. he is actually on the weak side. You guys just got rolled by a good Mundo.

Edit: You didn't mention how monsterously fed he was. I looked up you game, this dude got 3 kills before 12 minutes, starting at minute 4 on your jungler. Anyone that far ahead would smash you.

pretty much all this, to add, he gets kited, grasp of the undying got nerfed, item 3123 was invented, item 3153 got buffed, and item 3071 is too popular, also his bread-and butter item 3065 went from 70 down to 55 mr a while back. He himself hasn't really changed all that much over the years, but almost everything going on in the meta hasn't been going his way.

He's my answer whenever the enemy top laner picks a champion I hate playing against. When I lock it, there's a little part of me that wants to cackle.

Because mundo is meant to be tanky? He doesn't have aby burst damage abilities, he has to fight you for a pretty decent amount of time as he does mainly sustained damage with his aoe and low cooldown Q's. PLUS his aoe is his ONLY ability that scales with AP, so it's almost impossible to build him as a burst champ like a lot of other champs can be built.

He is a health tank. the more HP he has, the more hp he can also regen with his passive and ult to take blows for his team. also works wonders with CDR.

LOL i have no idea. I play him whenever i don't get my primary in ranked. 8 wins and 1 loss. He's my backup plan if this tank update fucks my mains.
