This nerf completely takes him out of any solo lane, regardless if it's mid or top. You've literally taken a champ who could play any lane (kinda jungle) and put him 100% into support role period. Why are you so hell bent on putting champs in specific roles?

His 'trading pattern' consists of him knocking you up, autoing you, and then headbutting you half a screen away for a thunderlord proc and zero chance of retaliation every time it's off cooldown, followed by him healing up and pushing the wave to your tower - meanwhile if you ever try to trade with him when he doesn't want to, he knocks you up and headbuts you into his tower or jungler. If he get's ahead you can't farm under tower because he'll just ult and knock you out of your tower.
He can't be allowed to be anything but a support for game health reasons.

Lane Alistar can be beat but you won't do it in a poking match. No range champs like Tryn, garen, or Yas don't stand much chance against him. Additionally full AD champs like jayce don't stand much chance either. But now with this heal change....You can very well outpoke alistar with little risk because he can no longer heal for the damage he took. He's been turned into a passive heimerdinger without the turrets.

Yes they can. It's riots game, not yours. His laning gameplay is degenerate when viable, so it's removed. Go back to support where you belong alistair.

Blah blah, I don't like riven, supports should be allowed to bully every lane with zero effort while also scaling hard, I don't like this game or play it much but my opinions are somehow important.

They've taken him to support role only combined with only mid to late game. In addition to his heal doesn't do jack to himself and no longer scales with AP. At least allow his passive heal to scale with AP.

If it's the rework then you know less than Jon Snow. Reworked Alistar can hold his own in lane easily, infact he's able to beat Jayce of all champions.
