A Breath of Positivity
Most of the threads I see on these boards are criticism of different balance decisions and aspects of the game, and I agree with a lot of them. Actually, as a
main, you can imagine how I feel about a lot of Riot's balance decisions. However, I would like to give credit where it's due and bring some positivity to the table.
For one thing, I think the Gangplank rework was amazing. He moved from being barely played and unviable to one of the best top laners at the moment, and he doesn't feel insanely overpowered or unbalanced. He has just about the right balance of risk vs. reward to make him rewarding while having enough counterplay that ensures he's not frustrating to play against if you know what you're doing.
For another thing,
,
, and
are excellent additions to the item list. They give bruisers the ability to be pretty tanky (but not too tanky) while ensuring that they do enough damage to be threatening. They are a nice middle ground that allows bruisers and even some tanks to do decent damage without having to sacrifice tankiness for it.
Share some of what you think are some decisions in the right direction toward balancing the game and making it better.
