Laning, overall approach kat as akali?

Mainly a question rgarding all types of encounters not just laning. I've been basically maining kat for a few years i think. And I've never particularly liked (being honest I myself just hate seeing akali in my games in general.) I had a pretty decent kill lead (my cs was garbage but i find it difficult to farm with a warrick trying to gank me every 3 minutes + im bad at farming with her early anyways) despite her picking off my teammates (mias pinged.) And i was ahead of her in farm for a while too. THe problem i had was 2 things, either she would ult to me and do her basic combo and the fastest way that i coud react was with a W and my ult. At which point she could easily disengage. I find that kat takes too much set up in the matchup which makes it very difficult. Help? Lead pre six isnt enough ive done before

As someone who mains kat and is level 7 with akali. Kat will almost always have the best advantage. Her disengage is very good. But on equal footing post 6 you can probably burst her faster. If she blows her ult she can easily be abused. If not, roam

so you're play aggressively? I'd been trying that in other matchups and if i don't get a good lead early she simply out trades me. Plus she has Pleny of ways of juking the damage from the daggers. It jut doesnt feel in her favor in general. Might just mean i need more practice.
