PLEASE make the secondary role optional in DQ.

I'm speaking for a lot of the community when I say: I don't care if I have to wait 30 minutes in the queue, if I want to play top, I should be able to play top. I go top/jg or top/mid every game. Guess how many games I actually get top? About 10%, while the actual rate is about 45% or something like that. And in the 10% of games someone dodges because we didn't ban the champion they wanted.

How about the secondary role is optional if you want a shortened queue time, but if you want a guaranteed role, you don't have to gamble over and over.

And I know with the old draft you had to be able to play everything and blah blah blah, but that's not there anymore, and if I want to play Fiora because I'm actually good with her, I should be able to more than 1 in 100 games.

I guess some people get the shittier end of the stick, ive gotten my primary in about 80% of my past games, there were only around four or five I got the secondary role.

What's your primary?

mid/top

I get mid more often than toplane.

No problem with this, put you at the very bottom of priority and let you wait 20 minutes. Fine by me, guaranteed everyone will glady take a second role when that happens.

The main issue is that this will lengthen the queue times for other players and make them less likely to get their preferred roles.

If a player chose mid lane as their only role (since it is by far the most popular), then anybody with X/Mid or Mid/X (where X is another role) will pretty much never get mid. At all.

This will both lengthen their queue (since it may as well be searching for a single role) and make it so that you'd have to not select a secondary if you wanted any chance to play mid-lane.

How about this, lets go back to season 3/4/5 where pick order mattered... Like, the new players want the game so easy. Go back to those seasons when the game was balanced and actually took skill in each role to play.
