With how the game is, there needs to be a mercy killing. No surrender at 15. Just mercy.

This is also known as the slaughter rule. Mercy rules do exist in sports. And there is most certainly a good reason for them. If there is a team that is absolutely infinitely better than the other to the point where the numbers are absolutely obscene then the game simply ends.

"A mercy rule, slaughter rule, knockout rule, or skunk rule ends a two-competitor sports contest earlier than the scheduled endpoint if one competitor has a very large and presumably insurmountable lead over the other. It is called the mercy rule because it spares further humiliation for the loser. It is common in youth sports in North America, where running up the score is considered unsporting. It is especially common in baseball and softball in which there is no game clock and a dominant team could in theory continue an inning indefinitely. However, mercy rules usually do not take effect until a prescribed point in the game (like the second half of an association football game). Thus, one team, particularly if it is decidedly better than a weaker opponent, can still "run up the score" before the rule takes effect. For instance, in American football, one team could be ahead by 70 points with three minutes left in the first half; in baseball, the better team could have a 20-run lead in the second inning, but the game would still continue."

Now why would this apply here? Because as of right now, there needs to be something that pretty much ends the match regardless if all players wish to keep playing or not. There is an option of a mercy killing with the new 15 minute surrender, but that's certainly just an option (that'll most likely be spammed by people seeing that one person has 15 kills and they want to give up) but it's not really enough.

What I think needs to happen is much like the events with Kha'ziks vs Rengar or the Freljord events, the stars need to align perfectly. Can't just be one champion getting 15/0. Or you losing first tower by 5 minutes or something. It needs to be such a horrible god awful bloodbath that there is absolutely no chance at a comeback. Statistically and realistically. For instance. If the enemy team destroys the inhibitor by less than 15 minutes with every team having at least 4-7 kills with no deaths and the other team having absolutely no kills and losing every single objective. It needs to be a rarity. Something that doesn't happen very often, but something that's there just in case everything lines up perfectly.

Now it's very possible for a team to say, "Oh don't get any kills. This game is GG. Go for the mercy rule." But at the same time, the same people can go, "Open mid" and the result is still the same. You cannot play around people who are willing to go "open mid" by 5 minutes. However even IF they try to go for the mercy killing, it would need to be something that they literally can't just give up and say "I give up go for the mercy." Things such as the CS, how much damage they take, how much gold the other team has allotted, etc.

Could a mercy killing encourage more intentional feeding? It's possible. But it's another one of those things that you just can't play perfectly around. If they're going to be the kind of person who is going to say, "I'm going to try and ruin the game for my other teammates and feed." Chances are you're not going to win that game anyway, as it not only became a 4v5 but a 4v6.

If the game is going to be as snowbally and curbstompy as it is. A mercy killing needs to be added.

how about after a (undivided for now) amount of minutes, if you are more then 25 percent behind on gold(other team has 125 percent of your gold) you are allowed a mercy surrender.

It should however always be optional, you shouldn't have an automated surrender, that would make people feel like shit.
