problem is, there is no mediocre riven. all riven are gods because they play the hardest champion in the game and they are sooo good and if they are low elo, that doesnt mean they are worse than challenger rivens, they just get worse teams.

Or just pick any juggernaut and hard bully her in lane to shut her down.

I love Riven, but I wouldn't call her mediocre. She's pretty strong, BUT she's not the best top laner. She's not even in the top 5 currently in my opinion with juggernauts taking over the game like Darius, Good Garen's with the right runes. Malphites who you basically can't fucking kill literally at all. Nasus if he gets good stacks. Tahm Kench is the better at level 6 or so. Gnar is good over her. Who does she beat now and days? Teemo? LOL, Vladmir who should stay in mid?

With that said, if she becomes fed, she becomes amazing, almost god like. Jax is pretty scary against her too, but overall she's still good, but overshadowed currently do to unkillables running wild.
