You shouldn't play/main Yasuo when you get stomped by Lux in lane
Please, save the team from the agony.

You're implying Lux has any risk compared to Yasuo..
ITs very easy for her to hide behind her minions, poke him down, and either make him back or kill him.
Get off ya' high horde ya pleb.

windwall and passive shield do you know this matchup at all
Yeah, I know the matchup. AAi Yasuo with Lux's longer range. Then i'm gonna poke him with E, so that when hes forced to wall or take too much damage, its wasted and I can combo him for 20-25s before the wall is back up.
And thats without jungles.
But naaah, you're right. Its impossible for Yasuo to lose any lane matchup because hes so broken, am I right?
With all his mobility it is extremely easy for any Yasuo to just get in her face and destroy her.
If you suck at playing immobile champs maybe.
Don't assume everyone is as bad as you.
Not that I suck at playing immobile champs, it's more that's it's so easy to someone with as much mobility as Yasuo to get on the face of an immobile champ, or just straight up dodge my skillshots with the mobility or even windwall.
my brother plays a lot of
, and he wrecks yasuo in lane nearly 80% of his games.
you're sitting here going "just use his mobility to get onto the immobile champ and blow them up."
you know how he gets it? minions. so you know what i taught my brother to do? he wards a river bush, and then stands on that side of the minions all game.
now Yasuo has two choices. use his skills and autos to clear minons, or use them on cass and lose on waveclear potential.
if he wind walls cass then my brother moves to a different spot and keeps farming or keeps attacking. you act like yasuo should be able to just use his kit to just jump the immobile long range caster. he cant. it's called counterplay. lose out on waveclear and get shoved under turret dealing with cass, or clear wave and get harassed.
if you use the one E to get close. congrats. you're now completely away from all other forms of mobilty and escape, and she is free to juke your wall and E you to her hearts content.
if this lux played ANYTHING like my brother, she did the same. stand on the side. if he wants to fight, cage and blow him up away from the safety of his free mobility. if he doesnt engage, hold lane/ shove him under tower with your harass.
immobility isn't a death sentence against yas. in some cases it isn't even a weakness. if he lost, then he got outplayed by someone who could use his kit against him. Yasuo's lose to players who exploit his weakness. the end.
If you suck at playing immobile champs maybe.

LOL Says the bronze 4.

actually no. good management between your windwalls, passive shield, and dodging skillshots with his e(and by just walking out of the way) are the reasons he wrecks her. a good yasuo will almost never get hit by her unless he has that shield up. Yasuo also has way better waveclear then lux does early game, allowing him to bounce the minion wave off the tower, and take the tower down. So are you sure you know the matchup? btw, yasuo will lose lane to some champions, i main malzahar, and beat him a shit load. Seen swain and Zed do it too. Beat him both top and mid as vlad. Hell ive even done Yi mid to win vs it.

Actually Lux beats Yasuo . . . Windwall only blocks Q. On top of that, Lux really doesn't have to interact with Yasuo. She can beat him just by autoing him early and zoning with Es and then going to roam and snipe kills with ult.
But I suppose a Bronze lord knows more than me :B. So, by all means, go live in your fantasy land.

windwall also blocks e if it hasnt landed yet. also when did this become a matter of rank? i guess people have to pull something out when they know they're wrong...

Windwall does not "block" E. It merely just stops it from moving past wind wall. Which really doesn't matter since the idea is to zone with it.
This is one of the 5,000 reasons why you're bronze.
What about me, hmm? I'm silver and I think Yasuo has an advantage over Lux.
But am I still " No, you're wrong, I'm plat and ur silver"
You make good points and arguments, but there is no reason to bring rank into this. Someone can be Bronze and right and someone can be challenger and be wrong.

Very rarely is that ever the case. Lo' and behold it isn't in this either.
Can Yasuo "beat" a Lux? Sure. He can go all ham and E through all of her minions and ignore ALL of the CS as he chases Lux around while she spams shield and plops E under herself and then here comes the jungler to kill the over extended Yasuo.
First blood.
Now Yasuo just "beat" Lux and then lost about 20 cs and died trying to prove how awesome his RNG is.
Yasuo is now still level 2/3 and Lux is already level 5-6.
Scenario 2:
Can Yas beat Lux? Sure. If Lux decides to chuck Qs into wind walls from a distance wind wall can be abused and chuck Es mindlessly without a distinct purpose.
But if she saves Q and uses E by placing it over her cannon minions/ cs in general at a specific time Yasuo won't be able to wind wall it, and he also can't CS without taking free harass. Also due to range he'll never have a shield, so, the damage will always stick. Yasuo will eventually be down in cs and also gankable, and if he retaliates he'll just die to jungler anyways. And if his jungler comes Lux'll just snare the jungler and walk away. So, there's really 0 kill potential against a decent Lux as Yasuo.
On top of that at level 6 if Lux gets down to half you die because windwall does not block Lux ult.
On top of that, Lux's roam is superior to Yasuos, so she can get fed just by walking to dragon pit and sniping botlane, and also deprive your jungler of farm by ult sniping his jungle while he's doing it, some times even netting kills.
Meanwhile, Yasuo's still chilling in lane with a Stattik shiv stroking his e-peen thinking he's all hot shit becuz "muh crits and muh windwall"
Endgame
1/15/3 "gg bad team"
And yes, this is a typical score of 90% of Yasuos in gold 2 and above.
He's one of the most hated mid laners of higher mmr simply because he's gank bait and requires a lot of dumb shit to go right for him which is never the case because he's always busy dying due to getting butt fucked for being overly aggressive, which is the very nature of his kit.

im sorry bud, but as a lux main I'm just going to tell you that, you are wrong. a good yasuo wins this matchup 100% of the time if their skill is even. the Lux can probably solo kill him and harass him well sure. but the yasuo is just going to shove in the wave to tower with his manaless wave clear, windwall any attempts to hit him as he clears, and then farm a side camp while you use your abilities to farm under tower as best as you can. If you try to freeze it, he will harass you while you take creep damage so thats not possible either.
I've played against good and bad Yasuo's in this match up a lot cuz he's a popular champ. A good yasuo just outfarms you significantly. and I mean by a HUGE amount. it takes him time to ramp up this lead, but he will inevitably get it. a good lux will probably never be killed by yasuo, but that doesn't mean she has not lost lane.
a key component of being a mid laner is being able to roam and create map pressure, and yasuo makes that impossible for Lux.

"a key component of being a mid laner is being able to roam and create map pressure, and yasuo makes that impossible for Lux."
And yet I see Lux do that all the time around diamond. In fact, I see Yasuo do nothing but feed around diamond against Luxs.
Can't roam? You only have to walk to Baron pit, or Dragon pit to net kills. Hell, you can counter dragon without even really having to leave the lane. Your lane is shoved in? That's a free kill thanks to jungle + support roams. Now Yas is dead. Free dragon. Free bottom lane/ top roam kill + turret. Yasuo is one of the only champions in the game that legitimately BEATS himself.
I don't think you playing Lux for one season makes you a Lux main.
"I'm a Kindred main!" How believable is it?
That has more to do with Yasuos doing nothing but feeding. Because for some reason people pick a lategame scaling carry who is be relevant at all stages throughout the game and get this idea that they absolutely have to no matter what start snowballing as early as feasibly possible or else they can never win.
When I play Jax I don't get aggressive for kills that aren't easy because I know I outscale most other champions.. The same with Yas. If you know you scale better, there's no need to take risks.

His kit by nature is hyper aggressive.
Dodging abilities? Have to use E to dodge them.
Apply CC? Have to Q minions.
Harass enemy laner? Have to shove lane.
Everything he does involves shoving the lane. I.E Gank bait. This is why he "beats" all mid laners, but in reality he never really "beats" them.
Then once he gets Stattik shiv he just shoves lane even while last hitting.
Honestly, your standard mid lane + jungle can kill Yasuo 4-8 times before he reaches level 6 with very little difficulty.
I would've replied to your earlier comment, however other have done so already, so I'll just respond to your current comment here.
Yasuo is hyper-aggressive, however if you know how to use him, and ward well, then you are never in any real danger, unless you get gangbanged to hell.
Yasuo can stall very well, in time for his jungler to get to a fight between the Lux and the enemy jungler, along with flash, can ensure that he usually survives a gank.
He can beat most champions, but most champions can beat him. It's usually very general on skill, unless there's an Annie. Fuck Annie.
Unless the Yasuo is horrible, and overextends, and doesn't ward, and has bad reaction timing and flings his windwall in front of him, he should be able to avoid most ganks.
Then, all you gotta do is farm up, and you'll (usually) outscale the enemy. Because a full build Yasuo is scary.
I'm a yasuo main.
Preach.

you are probably just seeing a good lux vs a bad yasuo. just bcause they are in diamond/plat does not mean they play yasuo well.
and I'm sorry you feel that way that playing lux for one season does not make me a lux main. I have literally been playing for about one season so there's not much more I can play. not fair to compare to a champion that has been out less than a week.

I'm guessing every Yasuo in plat through challenger is bad. Interesting words.
You do realize missing CS does not make you lose exp. If anything Lux will be way behind Yasuo in terms of exp. Last hitting gives you gold, being near minions gives you exp.
I hope you also realize someone who harasses and trades smartly won't miss very much cs. You act as if him Eing to a minion and then Lux for an EQ combo makes him lose the whole wave.

it actually does, if E hasnt landed yet, it gets negated. now hurry up and bring in some facts instead of saying "im higher ranked so im right".

If they did change it. It was only just recently. And even then, it still doesn't change much XD. Go on and waste your 20 second cd ability to windwall the E heading for cannon minion while putting yourself out of position for a gank!
So, as of just one to two months ago. It has been changed so that Lucent is blocked. But only if windwall hits the center of E before it reaches its destination. If windwall only touches the edge of E before it reaches destination, it will not block it. You're pretty much never going to block this ability without getting yourself killed.
Just tested myself personally.
Lux does not beat Yasuo, assuming equally skilled match-up of course.

As a Lux semi-main, I can confirm that it usually goes like this.
almost EVERY damn yasuo player thinks ranked is the place to practice their crappy mechanics. for the other 4 members of the team its so much pain
Yasuo players on my team feed. Yasuo players on the other team get and carry. It's basically just like Rivens and Vaynes.
On another note, lux is actually not particularly threatened by yasuo, especially post level 4...
I rarely have difficulty with Yasou as Lux. Work in between his wind wall, don't let him abuse minions for mobility, and dodge his knock up. If you do that he will have to rely on his jungler ganking to get kills, good ward coverage solves that problem. He'll have to look elsewhere for his kills.

Hes her biggest counter whether you personally have trouble or not he is
I can see how that would be the case for most. I remember when I feared Kassadin/Talon/Le Blanc/Akali. Kassadin, well he just died to nerfs, Le Blanc as well (though I still have to be wary of a highly skilled Le Blanc...), Akali, well I learned that I can, at least, not LOSE by running barrier, Talon is still, well annoying, and I can win/lose that one depending on how on my game I am that day, Yasuo...I had trouble with him at first. I lost a lot, but after enough match ups I stopped losing. Mostly a farm lane now. I can sometimes win... usually not, but I don't lose lane.
He's really not though. She struggles much more with Talon than she does with Yas. I don't think I've ever lost lane to a Yas as Lux....like, ever.

Shhh, don't let them know. They'll call you a liar and down vote you!
"But I muh premade Malphite makes up for muh first time!!11!"
Neither one of them should really die to the other, but Yasuo should come out ahead just because of his all in threat. You can definitely die if you fuck up and get snared at a bad time though.
OMG HOW HOW HOW HOW THE FUCK LMFAOx1000 ok im good now. Nope, im still laughing

you missed the point lol
well I dont usually talk about other's elo... I think there is a reason for you to stuck in bronze.
yasuo windwall has 26 cd and nobody max it first or second.
lux e has 10 cd all level. can u not see? u can poke him down so while his w is down. people like you in the board overhyping yasuo think yasuo windwall has 5sec cd or something.
Is... Yasuo supposed to beat Lux? I mean, his wall doesn't stop the beam of death and it's not hard to poke the hell out of him. 0.o I've never lost to a Yas as Lux, but Plat does have far too many baddies.
Nope, Yasuo is designed to go toe to toe with any mid lanner with his kit. He can do this match up if he has the skill level. Stop being a baby.

A matchup like this isn't set in stone. In fact, almost ALL matchups, if not all, are not about who is better than who on paper. Every champ has their strengths and weaknesses. Apart from how junglers act, the winner in the laning phase is the one that knows how to exploit the weaknesses of the opposing champion better. I have an easy time as Yasuo vs Lux, yes. But some matchups that are winnable I lose. Because I can't exploit the enemy champ's weaknesses better than they can exploit mine. Anything can happen in League, we've all witnessed a matchup go the exact opposite of what you predict. Calm down.
