what do I DO ABOUT NASUS IN BRONZE?

MunchCrunchLunch··1 votes·1,739 views

nasus is by far. the most picked top laner in bronze. and its fucking sickening playing against him. you pick a tank top lane. YOU can't STOP HIM FROM FARMING. and you tell your team " lets camp nasus or its gg:" and they ignore you acting cool. and EVERY single time. I lose to nasus. why does this champion have to exist?. I mean i have some 60k mastery points with nasus but i really play him for shits and giggles in normals. but its too much to go against him. his lifesteal. IS more than ENOUGH sustain to ignore any poke. and even his hardest counters. will get destroyed by him 15 minutes into the game anyway. the question here is. WHAT DO i do. me myself. 1v1. what can I possibly do. i literally duel him all the time to stop him from stacking. that is all I can do. duel him. poke. but nothing works. it just doesn't work.

wit the minion push changes. if nasus is WINNING. lane will push towards our tower anyway. if am winning. the lane will push in his direction and he can Q. you can't control minion waves with this nonsense system

why can't he be reworked. hes painful to deal with. I have to depend on my team to camp him . but that never happens. it never freakin happens. its always " it will be k" before he tps bot lane and gets a triple kill.

rito. please. rework nasus. hes from the era of league where some broken stuff existed that just doesn't fit in the game anymore. rework this champion. no matter how you look at it. hes not fun to play against in lane or any point of the game. all he does. is Q stuff. the fact is if a champion is so dependant on a single part of his kit. makes it completely a poorly designed champion

people complain about tank fiora. what about nasus that goes full tank and does 1k damage per Q. sorry but I can't depend on my team to camp the nasus. meanwhile a fiora has to farm and get items and actually. WIN lane. nasus. doesn't have to do any of that. all he has to do is have enough stacks

Nasus is behind Malphite and Garen in pick rate right now, actually. And there are ABSOLUTELY toplane matchups that he loses; Pantheon, Riven, Garen, and Renekton will all kick his teeth in in lane. Aside from that, Nasus is strong midgame, and he's a good split pusher, but he's not very good in teamfights, even when farmed.

EndlessSorcerer1 votes

Honestly, he might be good in teamfights in lower ELOs. His main issue with teamfights is that he's susceptible to kiting, but that requires the players actually prioritize properly and protect their carries.

If Nasus gets a flank or the enemy front-line all engage on the enemy team, their carries will be left undefended. All Nasus has to do then is Wither his target and walk up to them.

"He's good if the enemy team has no idea what they're doing" doesn't scream 'great teamfighter' to me. Give us bronzies some credit here; we're not idiots.

Slow his farm early, then group up and push down objectives while he's trying to catch up.

MunchCrunchLunch1 votes

because him tping to any lane and raping people is not possible. and what do you mean by catch up? is he behind or something?

Sachabot1 votes

Yeah. Stop him from farming his Q too much. You don't really have to kill him, just make his life harder. Keep him under turret as much as you can. That way, if he matches your TP, he's still not farming, and he won't have the damage to 3-shot anyone for that much longer. You don't beat Nasus outright, you push back the clock as much as you can while trying to win. Your goal in lane should be to bully him and stall him so he can't group or take turrets solo until he gets his farm.

Depending on how fast-fingered you are, taking Darius or Poppy and physically moving him away when he tries to last hit is pretty effective at stalling him for a while.

This is literally dead wrong. Under his turret is exactly where a Nasus WANTS to be, you need him in the lane, he's vulnerable to ganks and he's outraded by almost every champion early on.

Depends on how well he can farm. In Bronze, not very well is the norm. Plus, I prefer my jungler get the carries going with ganks instead of me. If we want him down, then I let him shove out and we kill him. Otherwise, I stall and keep lane pressure so I can do what I want.

I actually agree with LegitBusinessma And to counter your point about snowballing carries, remember that you are asking a bronze jungler to snowball botlane, the hardest lane to gank in the game. Chances are it will fail and snowball the enemy team. And ganking mid is much harder than top, especially when the top lane is immobile like nasus. Getting out of low ELO as jungle basically comes down to camping top.

you can stop him from farming while your in lane with him.. or at least keep him down to 100 stacks per 10 min if you deny him properly. but you have to be playing the right type of champ

the issues start becoming when you need to leave your lane.. mid-late game and no one is stopping him from farming

Critmaster Garen1 votes

pick a champion who can peel him like crazy mid to lategame.

it doesnt matter if he has 10 stacks or 10000. if he cant get anyone in q range before going down, hes useless. my guess is that nasus players in bronze are just as shitty as their opponents.

just run someone like ashe or quinn with mercurial to cleanse wither and youre fine.

Play Quinn. End of thread.

We don't need another Quinn top player in this world.

nice empowered auto, it would be a shame if it went on cooldown Teemo

Time to necro this thread. Alright, a properly built Nasus will have 45 cdr ghost, wither and qss to chase down anyone he tries to trade with later on. And a smart Nasus will not max q against a Teemo, but his e instead. While starting with banshees veil and conitnuing from there.

Teémò1 votes

A good teemo will always beat nasus. It doesn't matter if Nasus max's E or Q the fact is that he has to use it on either Teemo or the minion wave. Wither has no use against teemo because he will take stormraider's surge you may be able to wither his attack speed. but it has a good size cooldown and teemo's can easily exploit it. Besides that you need to realize that you are only harming yourself. Teemo isn't going to push the wave because that would put him inside the wave with the minions. No he will bush wack you and force you away from the minions because you counter yourself. Effectively he can create a barricade between you and the minions which forces the jungler and mid laner to roam top to help nasus because the teemo should be level 5-6 and you level 4. Nasus will have amazing wave clear as the game goes on, but at that point why play nasus if you could play morgana top. If a teemo wants to really mess with your mind he can build item 3123 or item 3091 And any ad assassin zed, talon, rengar would want to kill you because you simply don't have armor to deal with them in a 2 vs 1 with teemo.

lexiaoming81 votes

Firstly the only time Teemo can effectively bushwack a nasus is from lv1-6, and the jungle would've ganked by now. Secondly Nasus will have a storm raiders, ghost, wither and qss to chase Teemo down. Thirdly when by the time Nasus gets lv11, he can 1v2 as he would be able to burst any squishie assassin that attemps to gank him. And Nasus would be able to tank Teemo's damage, while Teemo would be unable to compete. As long as the Nasus isn't complete trash, then he should be able to survive the first 6 levels, before he can out trade Teemo. If the Teemo attempts a bushwack this provides an ample oppurtunity for Nasus to all in him. If armor really is that much of a problem there is always item 3026. If you want someone who can really zone out a Nasus effectively during lane, play Darius.

Get out of Bronze.

Sir Yamazuki1 votes

Just play Morg top with ZZrot and take his inhib turret within 20 minutes. Don't even bother killing him unless he tries to hit you for some reason.

Vizulix1 votes

Hey here's a tip from a Nasus main. Play Jungle. Let someone else deal with the doge, while you run around getting your lanes fed. Even if you`re a 700 stack and 5/1/0 Nasus there is nothing you can do against a fed as fuck enemy team.
