You didn't give him so many ways to go into Q so often. The champs weakness should be he shouldn't be able to waste his Q because its his only ability to stick to a target besides ult move speed, but as is with his passive on Q and ER he really doesnt have any counterplay besides hard point and click CC, which is actually really rare in this meta. He doesn't appear broken because he's been tuned to be weaker with his numbers, but his kit still carries way to hard with a lead imo.
