What people complaining about Lee Sin really want

The same people complaining about Lee Sin just want any viable ganking jungler that can pull off a decent gank pre 6 nerfed period. These are the same people that whined about Rengar, Rek'Sai, and Elise until they got nerfed into oblivion. Rek'Sai is basically just a utility knock up bot tank with tunnels... and people won't be happy until Lee Sin gets turned into a utility kick bot tank at all levels by nerfing any dueling or damage viability he has period.

Please keep in mind that these same people can't be bothered to purchase control wards, can't be bothered to ask their jungler to ward the enemy jungle with a tracker's knife, can't be bothered to put control wards in the river, can't be bothered to pay attention to pings or exhibit map awareness, can't be bothered to not overextend, and definitely can't be bothered to actually play Lee Sin because anyone that actually has would know that he can get countered so hard early by just doing the following little things.

Mmhm. You're aware many of them main junglers who can gank pre-6, right? There are far more pre-6 junglers than there are post-6 ones. Stop exaggerating. People want Lee to be nerfed because they don't like the way he removes agency from them, or are just tired of seeing him so often. Hell, the other 2 junglers everyone is currently complaining about barely even gank. Graves is content to just farm your jungler all game, and lacks enough mobility or CC to gank well, and Ivern, guess what, can't gank pre-6 and would rather steal all your camps anyway.

Wait, hold on.

because anyone that actually has would know that he can get countered so hard early by just doing the following little things.

Followed by nothing. Was this a shitpost the whole time?

He was referring to what he said before (control wards, map awareness)

But I guess that's really not much of a case because it applies to almost every ganking jungler.

Perfect syntax.

I think the main issue with lee sin is that he is; 1) viable at all levels of the game 2) can be built as dps, tank, bruiser, etc. and still be a problem (he's extremely versatile) and 3) Lee Sin doesn't only have strong ganking, but camp clear, and counter jngle

I assume most people complain about him because he stands out as a universal jungle that can fit any role depending on the situation, and he doesn't fall off meaning he has a great early mid and late game, compared to other junglers who may have a weaker early game or start to fall off later on.

And on a side note, I'm tired of player pleading for nerfs on champs that stand out as the best, even though they aren't really broken by any means. Riot could fix the issue of champs like lee sin by buffing other champs in the same role.

and he doesn't fall off

Except he does.

"Falling off" doesn't mean becoming absolutely useless like Pantheon does; it just means the champion is weaker later in the game. Ofc Lee can still do okay damage and provide utility, but he's far from a good late champ. His winrate drops by almost 10% by 40 minutes.

As someone who plays a lot of lee sin, i will tell you how to make him irrelevant.... armor.

Anyone who isn't a squishy completely ruins him, having a tank in any lane immediately makes that lane nearly pointless to gank once that tank has bought items. Lee Sin is an assassin for the most part. He builds half AD and a little armor and magic resist so he is able to provide something to the team once late game hits.

Warding, catching him out, and not overextending is the best ways to counter a lee sin player and make him worthless.
