The nerfs won't affect good Ahri players

The Ahri players that know how to land charms consistently will not be feeling those nerfs as hard. The changes are more towards phasing out the people who abuse Ahri's point and click burst on her ult and W, while giving her better counterplay.

Ahri's play was too rewarding and forgiving for sloppy players at the cost of other champions. This is just a step in the right direction.

How could anyone argue that these nerfs are not deserved?? Up to 150% AP ratio just from auto-targeted spells, with a triple-gap closer so that people can't escape.

A straight damage nerf won't affect? Bwuh?

Yes, it will. I am mostly concerned about her carrying ability as naturally scaling nerfs hit her hardest late game. People who died to her ult and w will still do so because they were out of position on half their hp.

The problem with Ahri isn't her damage. It's that she's too safe. Wrong way to hit her imo.

Can i get a link to said changes? I don't think she is op just overtuned for her safety

edit: nvm i found a post not bad not bad, i still think the q ms needs a change imho

The R nerfs were unnecessary. Most times you won't even get the full damage from R, and normally the wonky targeting for it makes it already unreliable. Nerfing such unreliable damage WILL be noticeable, even by good Ahri players. I appreciate the W - E switch, but the straight up ulti nerf was uncalled for.

When people complain about Ahri's Ultimate burst when it only has 450 base damage (+.3 AP) per person. If you're gonna insist her ult's burst is too high, then look at Veigar (325 + .75 AP minimum) or Syndra (540 + .6 AP minimum). Doing 1k magic damage on their ult late game.

If punishing sloppy play was indeed the goal, the Q speed would be gone, not these nerfs.

all ahri players will feel it. It's still a 15 percent loss in damage.

Everything matters to every player of a champion affected by a nerf

RavenMagus5/24/2017, 4:21:46 AM2 votes

I hope they keep going like this.

Eventually Ahri's charm will have a 150% AP ratio, and her W and R will heal enemies

Lady Hammerlock5/24/2017, 8:49:17 AM2 votes

Actually no matter how you look at it it is a straight up damage nerf

10% increase on the AP ratio of charm is actually less than she'd be losing

since both her ult and W fire three projectiles

ChaddyFantome5/24/2017, 2:14:25 AM1 votes

This change basically make the previously erroneous statement that Ahri can't kill without landing Charm actually more acurate now.

alfavhunter5/24/2017, 3:52:00 AM1 votes

what they should have done

nerf W and R ratios as they have done

Q no longer does true damage on its return trip and its ratio has been buffed to 40% per hit (last i checked it was a 35%)

add this passive to charms effect

charmed targets are effected by love-struck for 4/6/10/12 seconds after they get charmed [starts when charmed not at end of charm]

love-struck : take 50% of the damage from ahris ability as magic damage, they also take 50% damage as true damage

this nerfs her damage output but it also changes a lot of her damage to true damage when she lands her charm and uses proper play

in other words is strengthens her nitch of a true damage hyper mobile mage but also pushes her damage output into skill shots and makes her land charm to truely see the power of her kit and its true damage

Nerfs won't make a difference, no one maxes W second anyway.

Ahri's winrate won't change. Hell, they could remove the W altogether and she will still have a 54% winrate.

That's just the way Ahri mains are.

SweedishGunner5/24/2017, 9:08:33 PM1 votes

I would've nerfed Her cool downs or healing, not her damage. I feel like her damage isn't an issue, it's her safety and mobility.
