Hey riot Thoughts on the Mandrake ward and if it will ever be in game

Hey guys allow me to introduce you to something very interesting that happened 2 years ago on pbe.

It was pretty cool a ward that had a different way of usage, now i know that mandrake ward was probably removed for a special reason but i was thinking it be pretty cool to see a ward like it. Thoughts?

If I recall correctly, one issue it had was that they weren't sure what to in cases such as an enemy walking back and forth in and out of its range.

I think giving it a "pulse" mechanic could be just as interesting. Still more or does its job as a proximity ward without too much pingspam and still being really vague.
