I find no enjoyment in playing support anymore.

Playing support in bronze is so punishing. No matter what I do if my team is bad, the game is an instant loss for me. No matter how amazing are my ults, how game changing are my ults or how I use my abilities to save my ADC, if they are bad I just lose LP and my patience. I wanted to play support because I enjoy this role. I play support in almost every MMO game. But if this is how it's gonna be then I might as well quit.

Take a look at this. We lost the game badly. Did not get a single tower. Had no communication with the team no matter whatever I typed. Our jg died to both Krugs and The Raptors. Final score was 14 to 30. Out of the 14 kills we got I had a hand in 9 of them and I also died the least. If you are going to criticize the build, I had given up by that time and the game was already lost

Unfortunately I can't sympathize with you. Picking Sona is literally asking to lose. There's a reason she doesn't exist in Master+, that's because she's the weakest support in the game.

If you would just abuse mages like Zyra, Brand, Malzahar, et cetera like everyone else, you'd actually be able to carry some games.

Not true in Bronze 5. I just got out of that dumpster. Sona is top dog of supports in low elo.

I have to sincerely thank you for that first-hand testimony that Sona doesn't work except in bronze 5, exactly like I stated. I'm glad to see there are players who understand this even at the lowest elo.

But you told OP that they are losing [in Bronze 5] because they picked Sona... where we have just established that Sona is actually the strong pick in exception. In context, you played yourself.

Sorry I didn't go out of my way micro-analyzing the screenshot to notice such a pointless detail. I saw a large picture of Sona, I know instinctively she's the weakest character in this game, of course you aren't going to carry on support when you're picking a troll champ.

Sona doesn't actually work, even in bronze 5. Sona "works" in bronze 5 so much as far as the average quality of opponents is low enough that they're too inexperienced and unknowledgable to punish you for picking her. Sona doesn't WORK in a real sense in that you'll carry games or that picking her was a contributing factor for victory. Literally any other support champ in the game would have a larger impact on a positive outcome to a match. You could just as better cheese with Bard or Nami building Spellblade and Echo, than you could Sona. Or any mage for that matter.

Weakest in the game yet has a 53% winrate in plat plus. She isn't near as bad as people claim.

She has a 52% winrate in masters over the last month.

If you play enough and are good enough any champion can work at almost any elo.

So please stop posting that garbage.

Playing anything in Bronze 5 is punishing. Pick a time of day before school lets out to play ranked. That way you can avoid all the toxic and challenged children.

If you are having a problem playing support, consider carry supports or supports that can do something else. Brand, Zyra, and Malzahar are the most common carry supports but you can also play things like Karma, Lulu, and Miss Fortune as well.

Karma can do good damage with AP or build her tank and use her Mantra W to tank everything from the enemy. Lulu can be built many different ways. Traditional support does great. You can also build her AP and watch her burst people with TLD. Or, you build a Bork and Runaans and take the place of the ADC. Miss Fortune can obviously be built as an ADC, since that's her main role, but you can also build her AP. Her Make It Rain with Liandry's does a ton of damage and is such long range that you don't put yourself in danger. You can also check bushes with it so you don't have to face check.
