I made it out of Bronze 5. I am finally in Bronze IV. Hopefully I get to play with better bronze players. All my hard work and fussing over my ADCs has paid off.

You won't get better teammates, from experience; I didn't notice a difference until high B3 - low B2. But congratulations!

If your hope is that you won't get feeders and other kinds of dumbshits with no brain, you're in for a huge surprise. I've climbed as high as Silver 3 promos and it doesn't get better, it gets worse. In fact in terms of pure attitude, B5 players are the nicest around. I guess being the lowest on the ladder humbles one. Silver is the worst of the lot. Epic feeders, insane toxicity. You're gonna miss B5 mate.

I am silver 4 and still i cant tell the diffrence between players bronze-silver. SOmetimes when i had some golds in y team or the enemy team, i really coudnt believe they were actully gold.

congrats.

     i have friendly advice. if u want an easier time climbing, play ![Swain](https://ddragon.leagueoflegends.com/cdn/16.20.1/img/champion/Swain.png)  top. i was placed in silver my first time doing ranked ever and actually climbed to gold with swain top. doesn't even take much skill at all to do. just throw E-Q for op pokes, then back off. lay down a W if your goin for the kill or getting ganked. so simple yet so easy and effective.

here's a full build example: item 3070 item 3027 item 3065 item 3075 item 3020 item 3116 . (yes tear AND roa. trust me i have experience, having all that mana makes u a lot harder to take down thanks to your ult. u could stack roa's instead of tear for mana if u need more hp.)

and here's the core items u should build every game: item 3027 item 3065 item 1001 .

there are plenty of good items to build on swain, these are some: item 3157 item 3165 item 3001 item 3110 item 3151 .
just use the core and then get what u need.

take these summoner 14 summoner 4 stacking ignite with your E and Q will get you first blood. and put u ahead.

max order: E for easy pokes or Q if your enemy doesn't have dashes. Maxing Q will help with csing as well. only bad thing about Swain is he has a hard time getting around, and he sucks at csing.

i dont know why i wrote all of this. it just helped me a lot so i felt like sharing i suppose.

This is my first season as I am new to League. I placed in B2 after promos quickly crashed down to B5. Took some time to figure things out and climbed to B3.

Things were going well then boom a long bad streak took me all the way back down to B5 again.

Even though I have been playing a little better trying to focus on CS and objectives over kills I am still losing a lot of games.

So between my bad games, afkers, feeders and the general bad players it makes it hard to climb.

One thing I noticed when I was climbing was I was playing later in the evening EST time after "some people" went to bed and was consistently climbing.

Last month I was having 4-5 game win streaks nightly. Sometimes 3-2 but far better than my current rate. 28-13 at one point so if you have the option to play later in the evening after 9PM EST or later I would try it.

Best time for LoL and overwatch on EU in my case is late night after 00:00 or from 8am to 2pm. Only during the week tho and the best advice: never. play. during. weekend. especially not in the evening,

That's true for most games out there - Overwatch, LoL, HotS, Old Republic PvP, WoW PvP, and so on. Oh, the hurt from losing ranking in games due to drunks, stoners, kids, afks and trolls!

In Matchmakings defense, the "Bronze 4" guy is Gold 5 in Flex with a 68% win rate over 76 games.

No, his overall win rate in Solo Queue is 37%. His overall win rate in Flex Queue (which is where you played with him) is 68%.

For comparison, you're at a 45% win rate in Flex over 77 games. Yes, you're being matched with harder opponents, but your falling while they're climbing.

You can be boosted in Flex Queue in 3 and 5 man teams which increase your chances of win drastically.

I've put teams of 4 garbage teammates into gold without much effort. It is not hard in any way shape or form.

Solo Queue is the definition of your performance. Your Skill level doesn't MAGICALLY change once you try yourself out in a different queue.

At no point Plats should be queued with Bronze players VS a team full of high plats and diamonds without any compensation.

Check out his next several rounds, they are all fairly distributed where both teams had some low silvers.

Can be boosted is different from actually being boosted.

Personally I hate Solo Queue, at least in Bronze and Silver. Too much rides on hoping you get halfway decent teammates. I've managed to climb higher Solo in Flex Queue than I ever have in Solo Queue, and a lot of that I credit to smarter teammates. I can handle harder enemies if I've got smarter teammates by my side.

Plus, we can't discount the possibility that they're throwing games in Solo Queue, just so their name of "Bronze 5 is home" stays true there.

I used to be a climber like you, until I got demoted back into B5. Now I'm trying again, but as tanks like Sion and Leona. It's been working decent for me.

Around b3 you start noticing that players actually DO get a little better. b4 and b5 is the trolliest human scum, but you can actually play a game at b2 that feels like a game. I mean-- nobody's very good, but at least you're pretty likely to end with 10 players at the end of the game.

Heck, I've steered clear of ranked play simply because I felt like crap when facing all the toxic comments, even when I wasn't the one to blame. So, you are doing something which I am not - and I am ashamed to admit that I have a higher ranking.

I hope you get those next few tiers you crave. You are an inspiration to us all. :)
