Just revert Katarina back to her original kit already. I am tired of all these colossal, awful, changes. I started playing LOL again for the first time since 2012, and it is pathetic how almost all of my mains have been nerfed or even completely changed. This isn't changing the game for the better. Reworking the shit out of half the champion base is just tiring players up. Do Riot employees even think about how many hours of their lives players are literally wasting in order to main some champions, and how much money they invest in a single game? And all these for what? For giving the customers the middle finger? Imagine maining champions like Katarina, Akali and Shen, and have them basically completely deleted out of the game. And all this for what? In order to... balance the game? How balanced does Shen seem at the moment, being completely useless and incapable o carrying a game? And why do we have to be constantly slamming 7 buttons in 1,5 half seconds, like edgy maniacs, in order to complete a full combo of the new, reworked, champions like Katarina and Akali? Does Riot even cares about its customers at all?

At least, just bring the old Katarina back finally.

The reverts they've done were because of complete failures of updates that created more problems than they solves and made the champs unbalancable. Katarina on the other hand is flatlined as a middle of the pack midlaner (which isnt a bad thing btw) and has a much healthier design than her old roll your face on the keyboard playstyle

when she was good she was busted, and when she was bad she felt shitty as hell to play. At her best, she was the epitome of feast or famine. If you got behind even one kill you were usually pretty boned. Not to mention to execute on her abilities it was the easiest thing ever.

Her new kit actually requires mastery and not just facerolling your buttons. You may not like it, but it's a healthier design for the game, and honestly, the changes to her kit added a single new mechanic, but is mostly the same (still bounces q, still has shunpo, still spins in a circle of death, still gets resets on kills)

As for Shen, his kit makes SENSE now, and isn't struggling for a weird poke em with a ranged ability that wants you to... go in for trades? A tiny shield with a strangely long cooldown? His dash and ult are the best parts of his old kit, and they stayed the same, he got more nuance and playmaking potential, including FREE shielding and auto-immunity. Not to mention % health damage.

Like, yeah, new is scary, but it's objectively good for the champs that got reworked. Their power levels went UP, to the point that Kat has had to have a bunch of numbers adjustments to keep her in line post-rework. Akali was pretty much pick/ban at worlds, Shen still saw play, though situationally, which was always his niche, as not all teams benefit as much from his global ult.

Demanding reverts is not only unlikely, it ignores the fact that despite the affection we have for old champs (RIP Galio), they weren't healthy for the overall balance of the game, and these adjustments only help them.

it not just kat mains.. i would much rather deal with old kat who only had 1 shunpo unless she got a takedown, rather than making it completly impossible for u to hit her with any skillshot unless she completely misplayed.

Im very sorry to say this but i agree with this guy ... We those who main katarina since the day we started playing with her know how good it was to play and we knew the feeling we had assassinating, that gorgeous felling of entering with a shunpo after the five time bouncing blade to give extra damage, and then we had to press w to spin on the enemy and make the feel dizzy to the death, and if it was not enough, we pressed r to finish the perfect blow we had start... But now, with this absolute garbage rework , its impossible to feel that again, at least for me... The quantity of CC and counter-play for her its massive ... I mean ... With this rework we deppend on the daggers that are placed in the ground to give damage(Or we need 30 kills to make pressure in the game as an assassin...), and those daggers can be easily countered by using any type of CC or slows ... I know that once before she was brainless and we just had to punch the keyboard to do a penta or at least a triple kill ... But at least she was what she was meant to be, an assassin, that comes by to clean the mess the other 4 champions couldn't finish off ... The reverts they did on the other champions was not because they we're complete failures ... It was just because people couldn't feel what the champion was meant to be done ... Just like kat ... Like lb ... What .. they changed the passive, they changed they way you had to use your ult, because pressing r and they key of the abilitie was to much information to process on bronzis ??? Or rengar's q ... It was reverted cuz it became a fucking skillshot instead of an AA ? Cmon dudes .. Wake the f*** up .... I know that you gus are desperate cu*** that couldn't counter-play the old katarina, and you're here to make us think that you're a main and you're so happy with this bullshit rework, just you because you suck and you need the dagger to be on the ground to have reaction time to escape the true assassin ...

I know it's way to late for this response and that riot is not giving a shit about our opinion and about the champion ... But at least i gave my word of a player watching all these cool champions coming out and all these reworks, and then watching the trash shit you did to kat ... It's lame how a cool and powerful champion and now beeing fucked for a Lux that buils AP when she was just a item 2009 for the old kata...

I’m not waiting for a KATARINA REVERT as you put it. She’s not that hard to carry with right now, and I enjoy the fact that she requires skill instead of face rolling speed.

A revert thats not happening. Time has passed to where they would have to rebuild the assets from scratch, and shes really not in a bad state to where it would warrant them putting time into that.

The new kat is far healthier in the design of the game compared to the old. The old one had the power to dive, kill half a team and dive out unscathed. It was ridiclous. things like her damage reduction on shun po was not needed for an assassin.

I've mained Akali for 5 years, I can honestly say she was not deleted from the game, her story progressed and her kit improved, canonically. Her rework was meant to show time passed and to show Akali's growth as a ninja, she became independent. She feels very similar to play as the previous Akali imo but with more skill expression.

I feel like this rework was definitely along the lines of the GP and WW reworks, just needs some number changes to be less oppressive which she is getting this upcoming patch, so hopefully she won't be as bad.
