Game went from 68 ping to 98 ping after patch

As title states. I have no way to fix this atm. I've tried hextech repair tool and relogging but it seems like my ping is stuck on 98. I wouldn' say this makes the game unplayable but it feels extremely unsmooth as compared to before. If anyone knows how to fix this please let me know.
