Why are we making new champs when we still have game breaking flawed ones still that arent balanced.

I would love to see new champs but as long as Ekko is still doing what hes doing i dont think we should be making new ones..?

They have two seperate teams at riot for this. The balance team and the creation team.

And the balance team works on the new champs balance when they come out..

So its adding more work for them.

that's kind of irrelevant: with the same number of people you could just have more people on champion reworks and thus fix existing champions faster

Except, you know, the creation team is doesn't have the same knowledge of the field as the balance team or the rework team

lmao people will be downvoting this because they are ethier Riot fanboyz or are completely blind to arguments such as these.

Or, you know, Riot (or basically any company) is not a single entity only capable of doing one thing at a time. Multiple teams exist. If they stop making new champions, it doesn't mean there's suddenly more resources for balancing.

Thats not true. The balance team will work on the new champion so its inevitable for them to add more work on their shoulders...

My point is if we cant fix certain champs right now then theres no point in making new ones.

Ekkos obviously a champ that has major problems.

That isnt really an opinion.. its a fact

even riot admitted ekko is a huge problem that is very complicated to solve.

Yes you listed Ekko. I was asking who else are you complaining about, since you said one_s_, as in, plural.

Fun fact LoL is arguably the most balanced MOBA. Dota has some horrifying past balance.

It's not an argument actually. Balancing a game is hard. If it was easy, most games you play would be balanced (I'm not talking FPS; more the MMORPG variety like WoW).

I don't see a problem with getting more new champs. Keeps the game interesting. Ekko isn't a huge issue though. At least not at my elo.

making new champs brings in money. fixing old ones mostly doesn't

Because it can be boring to play the same champions in the same map over and over and over again. The new stuff coming to League are a big component of the hype in it, especially new champions are a very good reason for a player to keep playing.

How hyped would you be if you quitted League for 2 years, then came back and find out that there are only 2-3 more champions that were added since you left?
