How long before it's acceptable to take a new champ into ranked?

I've been playing a lot of Yuumi in norms and I think I'm doing pretty well. I wanna take her into ranked but I'm worried my teammates won't be okay with me playing the new champ

It's not just how well you know Yuumi, it's how well does your team and mostly ADC know Yuumi's kit...

Your team also need time to learn to play with him. I'd say 1 month.

honestly it does not matter at all when you go to play ranked with yuumi (ive been playing her since the hour she came out and all i do is play ranked) what matters is haveing an adc in coms and that you trust cuz if you cant trust your adc you actually have to take flash

Well, its the correct answer. As soon as you can purchase it, you can play it in ranked. It would be stupid of riot to disable it in ranked or force players to get mastery or anything of the like, as the entire plat+ scene would be dead instantly. Most players that play ranked seriously ONLY play ranked, or at least the vast majority of the games are ranked. Delays would just mean they learn the champion later and you run into the same issue anyway, and forcing mastery means you cannot pick to trade or even pick to play vital champions until you waste tens of hours grinding normals, something they dont want to do for 140+ champions in the game.
