Ok, this support circlejerk has to stop.

Look, I get that supports get flak. I really do. I've had it happen to me, since my main's primary lane (mid) is often taken. However.....

Over the 50 or so support games I've played this season, I've had maybe two had these abusive ADC stereotypes. I muted them within 5 minutes, and that was the end of it. And I don't think I'm just getting lucky myself either; I can go for several days without seeing a single toxic ADC, because for every toxic ADC I see a toxic player somewhere else.

If you want to complain about how many toxic players there are in the game, go on ahead, I don't really blame you. However, supports, please stop making yourselves look like frickin' martyrs, because ADCs are not demons created to make your existence hell. TBH I see far more toxic top laners than ADCs.

My junglers the toxic one, usually. Actually, my ADC's are usually nice and bubbly and I'm like yeah, I'mma dive to save you because you're nice. But the junglers get salty when you don't jump in at 200 health with no mana. And nobody listens to warnings ;c

Just make sure that you ping your lane every time your enemy laner comes past the river and as the jungler is coming up you just recall and then spam chat about how the jungler is slow and never ganks.

Part of the martyr mentality is that most people ALREADY don't want to support. They don't get to duel anyone, they don't get pentas (although i have seen a support Leona quadra) and they don't get the impressive KDA after the game. So if someone hops into a blind que and 'out of the goodness of their heart' plays support, and then get raged at, it'll make more of an impact than if they get the roles everyone wants. IDK what to say about any ACTUAL support mains who always complain about their adc.

Actually, quite a lot of people do main support, it's just, they don't sit on boards talking about it or whining about something that doesn't happen as often people are claiming.

You run into shiet people and they would behave and treat everybody like shiet, that's all there is to know.

Good luck dealing with them when you have to folks.

In terms of what I'm actually thinking, I do blame the support a lot for how my laning goes as an ADC. I don't say anything, but I'm thinking it. The main reason is because as an ADC, you need your support to hold your **** for the first 10-15 minutes of the game until you can get some farm and levels.

In terms of the rage I actually hear, though, it is almost always towards the jungler. It is usually the top/mid crying about being constantly ganked, despite not warding and pushing up to their opponents tower.

can't always blame your support though..

i've seen ADCs going in without me starting it and then blames me for their deaths lol

What gets me the most is enemy invasions at red or blue where the top/mid lane leaves, meets up with enemy jg and chases me around the jungle while the top/mid just farms. Everybody hates the JG more than the support. You can't get mad at the support because you already have low expectations. People rage hard on jungles though.

I see more toxic mid laners than all the other lanes combined. ADC rivals mid, but APC has the worst.

You're right about junglers and tops being more toxic on the whole, but I think what bugs supports is that toxic ADCs hit close to home... because if they do something stupid and die a few times, they blame you. The support. It is ALWAYS your fault. If they dive at level three and you don't save them, it's your fault.

That said, I'm honestly more annoyed by all the kill lanes I've been up against lately... Looks like people decided support isn't worth playing to begin with.
