Don't you love it when you're playing your main...
....and people counterpick you so often that you're better at dealing with the counterpicks than normal lanes.

I have to aim my Q's at my own adc to prepare for when Leona wants to go ham.
The fun thing is when people look up what the best counter for your champion is, don't really know how to play that champion, but pick it anyway because counterpicks win games, right? .... right?
I remember I used to play a lot of Ahri, and would always end up against people who would pick Ryze against me, because it was the top-listed counter on all the counter sites at the time (this was before either of their reworks), yet I almost never lost against a Ryze because I knew how to play the matchup and they usually didn't.
Just checked Xerath's counters and guess who pops up first: Ahri. So that explains why everyone picks Ahri into my Xerath, even though a Xerath player with decent experience in the matchup will make Ahri's life a living hell.
My ahri will eat your xerath.

We would all rather see it the other way around :)
Does Xerath even have a mouth
He would if he wanted one ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
I don't know why, but I get bored when I play my main. It's just, I either do well and win, or do well and lose. I'd rather play as some other champion that I never play as and win and then I feel way better after winning. This is the only reason I ever play Teemo ADC (which is now boring because I never lose) and Kassadin mid.
I'd rather play as some other champion that I never play as and win and then I feel way better after winning.
"Playing some other champion that you never play" is the reason you're bronze 5 and you will stay there - till you realize you need to pick your main and get skilled with it.
because I never lose
Never lose = 43% win ratio in Bronze 5.
This is the only reason I ever play Teemo ADC (which is now boring because I never lose) and Kassadin mid.
Last time you've played "Teemo ADC" was 25 days ago, you went Botrk, Runaan, Zephyr, PD - attack speed build without any dmg, no AD or AP. But you picked Clarity (as if you really needed to spam spells with attack speed build?) and TP summoners. 7/10/6 = DEFEAT - while playing against other bronze 5 players :/
Ok, that lie about "never lose" with "Teemo ADC" was really bad... lets see your Kassadin then.
Last game - one month ago. You went mid lane - again Clarity and TP Summoners. Mercury, Seraph and Manamune... 1/9/5 = DEFEAT.
Hope I could help you realize you're doing mistake by lying to people, playing "some other champions that you never play", trolling your team by picking "Teemo ADC", building - every champion you play - wrong, picking bad summoners...
Think about it... or just ignore it and stay bronze 5 - your choice :)
I don't mean to cause conflict (given I quit playing ranked when I realized I didn't have the runes or the champions needed for it and needed to learn a little more)(and yes, before you comment, I shouldn't have a say here because I'm on my home connection where riot's server lag happens almost every match...and i'm not even on the east coast...I wish I were there, at least they have decent internet)
but a lot of his matches actually have fairly decent play considering the terrible team makeups and lack of teamwork(and the fact that he has specifically stated that he plays champions he doesn't excel at because they are more fun
for instance, his most recent ranked match, I imagine that he called mid and his team agreed, then later katarina locked in and refused to back off of mid, so he went top with a champion ill suited for it
the ryze top proceded to be ganked by volibear for very, very easy kills, giving him the 0/4 because lets be honest, even the pros can't make twisted work in this meta given that any champion worth their salt can outrange and 100/0 him
leblanc procedes to be fed by the katarina expecting an instant win because of playing katarina and with a now fed leblanc cleaning up the other lanes and a katarina toxic infecting the game, he'd rather take the penalty for leaving than suffer the humiliation
that's just one example, look at the team compositions and think of what scenarios can and will happen.
they're not a bad player, they're someone testing their abilities in a way that they enjoy
I could have bought jinx a long time ago...she is without a doubt the best ADC there is given her support is even slightly competent, but why in the world would you play a champ that is pretty much a guaranteed win in lane? that's not a test of skill, that's money, luck(by positioning in champ select), and worst of all, boring...
there are 3 marksmen with built in crowd control, all are highly contested meta picks, 2/3 are incredibly mobile and 1 outranges every character until at least level 9 and has an execute ult so that no one gets away and now has 50% armor pen on passive in addition to the 50% damage increase
then there's kalista...if anyone has chosen a tanky support, she can engage whenever she wants to or save her support while being one of the most potentially mobile champions with an indecent amount of burst provided the spear total isn't allowed to drop
the champs that are more than likely to win are more than likely boring

Sounds like those sites were never updated. Ryze stopped being even considered a counter to Ahri after his ranges got nerfed and he was considered to be COUNTERED by Ahri, much like Lux counters Ryze. He's easy to bully in lane with his low ranges. Even with his Q being longer ranged, it isn't much since minions tend to eat the Q often enough.
Nah, in my case this was quite a while back, before the range nerf.

That makes sense then! Prior to the range nerf, he was a monster of mid. Alex Ich in S2. Scary stuff.

I personally don't believe my main has a counter. Not one in lane, anyway.

support completely destroys a Jinx. This can be slightly mitigated by a
or
support but she still gets bullied and killed.
source: I main Brand support.
I'm pretty sure both
and
counter jinx in lane.
as someone who enjoys lucina i would like to tentatively confirm this.
Lots of people on this board enjoy lucina, but the above post was about lucian and graves
A lot of people on this board enjoy Lucian, but Graves can't have a cigar

Lucian can have 2 guns, a missing wife, and a driveby shooting of an ult, but Graves cant have a cigar
WARNING: NEVER MAKE YOUR SUMMONER NAME "I MAIN (X CHAMP)"!!!!
ever since I changed my summoner name to this, I've had an unexpected but horrible consequence. I have yet to have a swain match in which I didn't get camped by jungle. but wait, there's more! not only do I always get camped by jungle, but I am also almost always camped by both bot laners! so, yeah...now my win rate/kda on swain are garbage T_T
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED
So basically make your name
inb4 "I main Heimerdinger"
double kills 4 dayz
....and people counterpick you so often that you're better at dealing with the counterpicks than normal lanes.
Yeah it's pretty great.
People tell me Teemo counters Darius. I eat Teemos for breakfast as Darius.
Similarly, I can pick Cho mid lane and be confident I have the potential to win any match-up, even harder ones like Cass or Brand.
I've heard that too- I have no idea why Teemo is supposed to counter Darius.
A friend of mine (alas, he's bronze) was having such a fit against a Teemo as Darius. I eventually had to have a talk with him, "Bro, does his blind work on your Q?" '...no.' "What about the E?" '...no.' "So if he blinds you, just wait for it to wear off then kick his ass." '...oh.' Like 30 seconds later 'Hey it worked'

The match-up is different from most Darius match-ups. I usually go offensive masteries, but against Teemo I run 9/21/0 to better withstand his harass. I take teleport rather than ignite, since it's safer and Teemo is one champion I honestly don't feel is durable enough to warrant the ignite. The key to winning the lane is movement speed.
Tier one boots and a phage make Teemo so much simpler.
Kill a minion, then dash to him and E, then immediately W rather than canceling your AA animation. This way you can get the extra damage on him without being blinded. Auto the shit out of him and chase, Q when he gets to the outer rim. If he's dunkable, do it. Once you kill Teemo it becomes very easy to do so again. If you're not camped, I find Teemo to be a fairly simple match for Darius. Not the easiest, but I've never lost it.
The really great thing about this match is that Darius is honestly more useful in a team fight than Teemo IMO, unless the Teemo's team forces a fight in a mushroom field. He doesn't even get to outscale you.
I've had similar cases as Garen I think. I remember being told that Teemo counters him (don't really know if this is true) and after a bad early game where I play fairly passively (I try to live and farm, in that order) eventually I reach a point where I am too tanky for Teemo's shit and DEMACIA him to death. It's fun.

That's how most Teemo match ups work if he can't get significantly ahead. You don't even really need to kill him, since most top laners outscale Teemo.

I die a little everytime I see a darius lose lane to a susan, obviously an amazing susan will beat the darius but it essentially means that the darius is going to be useless the ENTIRE game, all he really has is his early - mid game, if he doesn't win lane and snowball, he's basically an immobile riven or slightly tanky without engage or damage.
uh... Whats a normal lane? I'd like to buy one.
and
You can't counter what you never see played
I can beat
easier than anyone else..... the feel
Yep, I'm so used to playing vs

as
that I got caught off guard by
AP
and AP
. Fortunately I was able to recover after a little while
And it's pretty silly when the enemy picks
vs me when I'm
or
and I crush them. I'm honestly more nervous about AP
because while I counter them on paper, their early-mid games are much stronger than mine and their roaming is very powerful
It's just silly how people play counters to counter someone without knowing how they work or when supposedly a champ is mega OP. I wondered why people picked
into my
or
and turns out Kat's one of the top counters to both of them...when quite frankly idgaf and just kill them at lvl 2 or 3 because they massively underestimate my damage
For me, it usually happens the other way around. I'm a
main and i just looove when people first pick
or
.
I feel like a good teemo can kite darius
Yasuo Counters Anivia in lane.... Meanwhile I always win against him...
Yasuo doesn't even remotely counter Anivia in lane to begin with... Anivia beats all melees in lane, period.
No im pretty sure Yasuo counters her, and she beats all Assassins in lane, not melee. Anivia is pure ranged, and her strongest attacks travel very slowly. yasuo's wall allows him to easily avoid them because of this.
She beats all both. Melees are very easy to land Qs on while theyre attempting to CS, and you also can abuse your auto range for harass. Assassins can't all in her due to Q+E and wall, not to mention egg.
Yasuo's wall is much longer cooldown than anivia's Q or E, and is highly glitchy- her E will often go right through it, depending on timing. Pre 6 you simply abuse your high auto attack range to get last hits safely. If he attempts to engage anyway, it's pretty easy to double tap q for stun prior to the projectile passing through the wall. Follow up with an easy E, either right away if he didn't get the wall off or just after walking through the wall during the stun. Grats, there goes half his health.
Post 6, things are dramatically easier. Just E>R then back off. He'll wall it; that's fine. Wait for your E, then E>R again, the wall won't be off cd. There goes 1/4 his hp.
I've played this matchup a lot- the very best of yasuos have some potential to make plays in it, especially if you underestimate them. Most, however, just sort of die.
Alllright thanks for the tips. Explains why hes so easy to vs.
