So I played 25 games and made it to diamond
I played pure solo queue. If I can climb solo queue, then the rest of you guys can too.....

That's not even the problem. It's about ranked integrity not a failure to climb. Think a bit deeper.
I get that point that premade vs. solo has different skill sets and mind sets to considering and that some players do get boosted. My point is that you can climb through solo queuing. Sorry if that point wasnt clear.
Eh, my main issue with Dynamic Queue wasn't playing with/against premade groups.
I have issues with the skill disparity within a match (even if the teams were technically balanced).
When Dynamic Queue lets people up to 10 division apart group together (i.e. Gold 5 and Platinum 1), lane match-ups can easily become rather one-sided (i.e. Gold 4 laning against the Platinum 1, the Gold 5 laning against a Platinum 2, etc). It just leads to very snowbally and stompy games which aren't really that fun to play.
I don't let it stop me from climbing, but the quality of games is noticeably worse than it was last season in my experience.
There's a bloody good reason why diamond is diamond and not bronze. If everyone suddenly "git gooder", the Diamond+ would still cover only 2% due to competition improving as well. So no matter what, 98% of players DO get a "f00k you" kind of ranked experience. Heck, even diamonds have duos... how is that not screwed.
well im saying you , as a player, can improve to the point where u dont need a premade to consistently win/carry. The players at a certain elo will play at some skill level. If you improve beyond that skill level then you should be able to surpass these players even if they're premade.

You CAN win. You CAN climb. But the game experience is atrocious and the climbing is much harder - when it comes to premades. it's a Russian roulette of getting a better premade on your team. there's also premade circlejerking and failure to communicate with others.
I am absolutely sure that if your skill is Challenger, you can eventually climb to challenger, but not only the vast majority of people can't do that, but also the climb is very unpleasant due to DynQ.
I think one idea you and many other players have to understand is that if you want to climb, regardless of what elo you are in, you need to play better than the players in your elo. That is what i did. The climb is NEVER easy as a solo player. If you are premade, of course, it is much easier. You cannot expect to play with and against players around your elo with riot's premade system. There is always a high chance for mismatching of players between bronze and platinum because a gold v can premade with a plat 1.

Nobody said you cant climb ,is just experience to play with premades or against them is a pure cancer.Nobody likes that ,its not fun and its not fair. There is reason that 3+ man premades has almost 70% win ratio against solo players. That sounds balanced...
took me 207 games as solo support to get to diamond 5.
now smurfing as mid/top lissandra and im at around gold 3 after ~28 games.
well i believe there are champions and roles with which you can just simply carry the games on your own most of the time.(
mid for example).
but really really it is just 99.99% impossible to get from unranked to diamond in ~30 games as a solo janna support.
You mean we all can be in the top 2%? Logic!
im saying you can solo clmib......
Actually, I can't. I tried. I'm happy that you were able to get your primary role every game and climb back to diamond where you have been for 3 seasons. But I don't play bot/mid. I play top/jungle and sometimes support. And because my MMR is higher than my rank, Riot "balances" my team by pairing me with low MMR carries. My last game was vs a 3-man premade. They had a plat 2 Akali versus our gold 3 Yasuo. I lost my series to plat for the 3rd time. And that will be my last LoL game until they do away with DQ and the shitty matchmaking system it brought with it.
Sad to hear that bro :/ What can I say, DQ is ridiculously unfair.
but ur issue seens to be more related to riot's broken matchmaking system that is not properly matching players around your elo. The problem in your case is that riot lets a gold 5 player premade with a plat 1 player which creates a massive skill disparity in terms of matchups.
But, that means if you want to climb, you need to play at least at the level of the highest ranked play in your games. You CAN carry on top and jungle. You just need to pay attention to your champion picks and bans. Picking something that can hard carry greatly inproves your chances of winning. Aside from that, you can utilize dodging (i do this often) to simultaneously avoid bad games and protect your mmr.
The matchmaking comes with DQ. Players can group up to 1 tier higher. So a g5 can group with his p1 buddy and get boosted.
There are boosted players at every tier, especially diamond. If you think they're going to disappear next season, you're wrong. The players who got boosted this season will still have their mmrs carrying over to next season. Also, my sources say that dq premade is still going to exist between bronze and platinum.
I don't think that because I already know DQ will still be around for bronze to platinum. Which is why I quit League already.
Then why are you whining on boards?
Yes its possible but why not go premade if you can :D
because some people think it is impossible to do with pure solo queueing. I just wanted to debunk that myth.
I dont think anybody said its impossible they rather say that its more luck than actual skill xP
I don't recall this being the primary complaint about DQ.
