Is vlad better mid or top?

I feel both lanes have their advantages but I want to hear other opinions.

Neither. I want to vs the immobile trash bags of toplane or the squishy click q to stu.. oh fk hes untargetable of midlane In other words, some nice fun matchups are jax/poppy/sion in the toplane and lux, morgana, and veigar in the mid.

Well AD assassins are really OP right now especially thanks to their items that all give them massive amounts of AD AND MR. Vlad is not going to 1shot anyone thanks to all of Riots nerfs (and OP MR items) so you would do better top because they have less chance of 1shotting you.

I do particularly well in midlane but been noticing him being played top as a higher win percentage. I just don't see if that's because of lack of knowledge of other vlads in midlane or if he is just plain better top. I see midlane as easier to carry in. Maybe that's why, some vlad players ruin their teams potential by fking up midlane, but if they top, can save late game if their midlaner can hold.
