If Leona could pop her own passive..

Probably strong... ban/pick? Not shure, maybe...

In my opinion, that is the main reason keeping her out of solo lanes.

Maybe not pick/ban, but she would be a lot stronger and would have to be nerfed. One of the reasons she can't proc her passive

She'd be able to jungle a lot better, and a jungle gank from a Leona would be extremely difficult to escape at level 2 even if you burn flash.

I'd love to be able to play her solo lane without team mates flipping a kitten... that being said I enjoy her status as a rarely banned support... but agree that if she could pop her own passive, build her AS aspected and she'd be scary.

No, she probably wouldn't be pick or ban, and since her passive doesn't scale with anything, her damage will still be mediocre as the game progresses. Her base values are subpar, and have crappy ap scaling. She'd still need to build damage items to be relevant, and I don't think she'd ever be able to solo the backline. That being said, her jungle would be remarkebly faster though. Her clear speed is one of the only reasons why she isn't a great jungler, since her ganks are so devastating. She might actually have a chance at winning 1v1s in the jungle too, as her base damages don't fall off until later.
