Ideas for Season 5

So season 4 is almost over and I would just like to share my personal opinion on potential changes for season 5. Keeping in mind that this is from a solo queue perspective. Also the last two

**LeeSinJungleVi ** The jungle it's self is in a good position in season 4 however there should be a greater stress on objective control.

First of all Dragon as an objective is very unrewarding early game. If a team takes Dragon at a approximately level 6, the team will gain about 1200 gold, about 240 per player. This is not even enough to buy cloth armor, so this means 2 Dragons have to be taken in order to generate an item advantage. My suggestion to fix this problem and make Dragon a more significant objective early is too make Dragon worth 1500 gold, 300 per player, on spawn. Then at 20 minutes the value of Dragon increases by 500 gold, 100 gold per player. This will continue until the 40 minute mark at which point Dragon will be worth 3000 gold per team, 600 gold per player.

**item 2044 Wardsitem 2043 **

Warding limits are extremely hindering to solo queue as not every player buys wards, more notable with Vision or Pink Wards, which causes the vision war to be won based solely off how many players buy wards.

First the limits on 1 Vision Ward can be extremely detrimental to a team, especially a buff dependent Junglers. For example, if a Jungler is blue dependent warding the blue buff in order for safety reasons is pretty important. However they then sacrifice vision control of Dragon, an objective which gives global gold. This is problematic as then the Jungler is either forced to use Stealth or Green Wards which expire and could be of better use in keeping track of the enemy Jungler or warding the river. My proposed solution is too up the maximum number of Vision Wards to two. This allows a Jungler to maintain true vision of their buffs while also maintaining true vision of objectives such as Baron and Dragon. This also allows Junglers better vision control of Baron and Dragon later on when their buffs become less important.

Secondly the limits on Stealth Wards also make it very difficult for a support to try and keep up for vision control on their own, a common problem in solo queue since many believe,"It's the support's job to ward". The solution to this problem would be removing the current warding limit from Stealth or Green Wards. This allows the support to make a choice, get more items and sacrifice vision control or maintain better vision control and sacrifice items. This allows split pushers to have better security as they push.

**{{summoner:17}} Towers {{summoner:17}} **

Towers are well off in season 4 but have one major drawback. This drawback is the need to be close to the tower in order to get full gold value. This is problematic as it makes split pushing inefficient as a method of gold generation and also makes it difficult for a winning lane solo to help a losing bot lane, depending on fed the enemies are. My solution to this problem is to make tower gold global at a constant rate of 300. This allows a Top Laner who has taken two turrets to be as useful to their team as a Top Laner who began roaming after taking the first tower.

**Zed Kill Gold Leblanc ** In season 4 shutdown gold could result in an opponent who was behind catching up solely because of one mistake made by the player who had developed the lead. Also leads became increasingly more difficult to develop as champions die consecutively as their value decreases. My opinion is that all kills, should be worth 300 gold. This prevents the team in the lead from throwing the gold lead from one mistake and also makes someone who goes 0/5 still worth more than a wolf camp.

Kayle The Tribunal and Leave Buster Kayle

The Tribunal and Leave Buster at the moment are fine for normal games but are not harsh enough for ranked games. First, a player who leaves a ranked game for any reason usually costs their team the game. In normal games the lost doesn't hurt anyone but in ranked the players who lost simply because their teammate left lost League Points and potentially a Promotion Game. This extremely unfair to the player, and since Riot has specifically stated they will not implement loss prevention because of player leaving another method must be used to discourage players from leaving. This method is harsher punishments for leaving a ranked game; for example the first leave from a ranked game would be a two day ban. These harsh punishment make it very clear that leaving a ranked game will not be tolerated.

item 1063 Ranked Dominion item 1062

The Dominion Community has been asking for a ranked queue for some time now. Ranked Dominion was promised on release but wasn't released initially added because there was no meta. However this is not the case anymore as it has become standard to send 3 players to the top point, 1 to the respective mid point and 1 to the respective bottom points. Also there is a usually one player who is roams around the map and captures undefended points. So now that a Dominion meta is developed a ranked queue should be implemented in season 5.

Closing Remarks To summarize these ideas are all aimed at making snowballing easier but still allowing late game champions to do well. These changes are also aimed at allowing players who are ahead to help their team by increasing global gold gained by taking objectives. Thank you for time and I would love to hear what you want in season 5.

Your ideas for vision are a little counter intuitive, Riot added the ward cap to force players to realize that it ISN'T just the support and jungler who should be warding, and while the learning curve for players who still don't buy wards is steep and relatively harsh imo, it is a needed change and is gradually making an impact.

Pretty much everything else is spot on, except your thoughts on jungle. JUNGLE IS NOT IN A GOOD SPOT. Riot has already revealed that they plan on changing how dragon and baron work, so you are on point there, but as a whole, the jungle is very unhealthy right now, and is still dominated by strong duelist jungles like Lee sin and Elise (Kha'zix to a lesser extent) while riot has made strides towards balancing out fighters with AP, tank, farm, counter junglers, and objective utility junglers, fighters are still FAR too dominant for there to be real diversity or viability for some of the more unique/fun junglers out there.

All in all, a very insightful overview, and obviously everyone is entitled to agree or disagree with it, well said.

You make some good points! Also, delete Trist, Lucian, and Yasuo and you have an amazing season 5!
