Hum, just saw S@20 and they had a buff for Jinx saying her Zap can now crit.
A spell with a 210 base damage at rank 5 and a 1.4 AD ratio.
Hum, can Meddler or anyother Red give context on this? Is a full crit (200% damage) or a modified/reduced one like Fiora E, Talon Q, Xin W? Because otherwise that thing will hit like a truck.
Im more confused about the Lux ult refund. It has like a 36s cd late game, now if you kill with it it'll be 18s
The reason is actually pretty simple. The reason why Zap's base damage and scaling is so high to begin with is because she has to have motivation to use it in mid game but with how she build right now (going around 70 - 100% crit chance) there's literally no reason why she would use it because: A: It puts Jinx, an already immobile adc, into a semi-cc locked state for a full second. She can't move at all. B: It decreases her damage output tremendously in late game because her AA crits are doing more damage than her Zap is anyway. C: Using it as an escape is stupid because the slow negates itself with point A.
There's really no reason to use Zap other than to try and finish off a champion who's too far away for you to AA. I'm honestly glad they're addressing it.
