Question about the Rengar Rework

So I tested out the Rengar rework on the PBE a few days ago, and I LOVED what Riot did to him. About a week later I log back on to see that his rework had been cancelled. Or at least, that's what it seems like to me. With that said, I'm here wondering, did Riot actually cancel Rengar's rework? If so, I will be very upset. Very... very... upset... I was a Rengar main for 2 seasons, and when they initially reworked him in preseason 7, I and many other Rengar mains were disgusted by what we got: a cheap, pale imitation of what he used to be. Anyway, the feedback for the Rengar changes were overwhelmingly positive, so with that in mind, I need to know; is Rengar actually getting a rework/partial revert, or not?

The changes aren't canceled. When Riot does larger scale-work, and that work requires more than one patch to refine, they will usually pull the changes they're working on out of the current PBE cycle before adding them back in the next. Riot ~~gypsy~~ ~~groovy~~ ~~jinxy~~ August confirmed on the PBE Boards that the changes are coming back next patch, and they're almost ready to be released.
