Whenever Riot wants to make or remake a champion into something fun it's numbers have to be destroyed later on. Yay, we achieved balanced and now the Champion is no fun. Just like most of the other champions.

When a few champions tower over the rest, the rest need to brought up. Not the top being brought down. The reason why is because when champions (over the years) are constantly brought down to everyone else's level it makes the game stale.

Riot is unable to introduce lots of outplay on abilities because other champions can't match it, so newer champions often have very weak stats or a very simple Kit. Players and Riot need to start to be willing to change bigger things about the game than just numbers.

They’ve been doing that pattern of bringing champs up with the patches: it’s been more champ buffs than champ nerfs. It just doesn’t feel impactful, because they try to avoid gutting champs due to fan outcry, or make them mad from making them OP

Also, the reworked champ is usually OP or UP based on the fans just trying to find the best strategies to use, and are not used to fighting them yet. It’s not like they are made of test players. Many of the new or reworked champs are still fun, just not as game breaking as before: release rework Poppy was the carry tank and can still be a huge nuisance, Pantheon dominated top lane and is still a good lane bully, and Morde is pretty self explanatory.

I mean. the only time I remember a champ being nerfed so hard they weren't fun anymore was like.... Ivern getting nerfed to being useless, and .1AD Scaling Q on Rek Sai.
