I'm a Bronze 4 mid laner and I main AP Ekko. As of right now though, he's banned in over half my games and its hard to get a chance to play him. Sometimes I queue dodge but that gets annoying after a while. So, I'd like to know of as many good mid laners for low elo as possible which I should try play in order to climb in ranked games?

I wouldn't suggest "low elo" champions, just pick one and get good at it. Well, maybe not Cass or Azir.
But if your main's getting banned all the time, yeah you'll need another. I think Fizz mostly resembles AP ekko. Or you can try a mage. Me, I spam Ahri.
I'd say fizz is a pretty good champ to start playing, he can 100-0 carries, he has an e that can dodge almost anything, hes also very mobile. All the other suggestions people are making are also very good mid laners to try out, just find the one that suits you.
