Has anyone actually noticed how insane the damage on his ult is ? especially considering it is a mass aoe and can abuse zonias

Have you never seen Amumu+Fiddlesticks?

They have both the strongest initiation and the strongest counter-initiation, before accounting for the other three teammates.

That's one potential comp with Fiddlesticks, not all of them.

Maybe because even with all his insane damage and CC, he's actually reasonably easy to play against. Fiddle's a early game presence and a late game carry through itemization with an abysmal mid game if he's not fed. He requires the element of surprise in order to channel his ult and set up, and if hes getting the jump on you, you deserve it.

The reason you think fiddle is easy to counter play is because at silver 4 he is, because players at this elo are bad, have no mechanics, and frankly fail to fear even with point and click fears like fiddle has

I am the same rank as you and I think Fiddles is extremely easy to counter. So much counter play to him. If you have trouble against a Fiddles, it is because you are bad, not because he is broken. That or you just don't want to leave you 100% damage build in order to counter him. Either way, you're a dumb dumb.

frankly i believe the entirety of fiddlesticks kit to be extremely over the top

Throwing numbers around is stupid. You will never get to that damage. That is like saying AP Varus is broken as fuck because he can do over 1k + about 68% of the opponents Maximum health with 3 AA and his ult.

Right, right, because CC doesn't exist--wait, fuck, it does.

No, you will not reliably be able to guarantee that you deal the full damage. But a good player or one with smart teammates will be able to keep multiple people in range for at least 3 seconds. 1625+225% over 5 seconds is 325+45% per second. Reliably, unless you entirely miss your ultimate, you should be able to at least get 650+90% AP on multiple targets, even if no one else on your team has hard CC.

Well, 3 AAs really isn't a hard feat to accomplish with a marksmen is it? So should Varus just get removed from the game? Also, I say you won't get that damage for many reasons other than Fiddles sitting on top of you. Wards make it crazy easy to dodge Fiddles ult. Magic resist drains that damage like crazy. CC kills him. I main Fiddles, I can easily see a difference between good players and bad players. Bad players don't ward Fiddle's ult spots or build mag resist. Then they complain about the amount of damage he does. He is very very easy to shut down.

You could have at least used a more popular complaint choice, like Vayne.

But it's a problem of kit overloading, like Katarina's ultimate. Katarina can't do jack shit for kills if her ultimate is down, because her basic spell rotation is one of the weakest burst rotations in the game. Meanwhile, her ultimate deals thousands of damage. I'm not calling her overpowered, I'm calling her ultimate overloaded

The same applies to Fiddlesticks.

Well, from a numbers standpoint, I would say doing over 1k magic damage plus 68% of the enemy's maximum health, is a bit over loaded. All while still doing a crazy amount of AA damage. How is this not overloaded? He has 3 spells that can do 68% of the opponents maximum health each. Also, Kat is pretty easy to shut down. All you have to do is CC her ult. I just don't see good players complain about Fiddles. I see good players counter Fiddles.
